The plant life in the photos drew my eye and I was not let down upon my arrival. I loved that it was close to the Royal Brisbane Convention Centre and train station. I quite enjoyed the noises outside my room like people's voices and footsteps - reminded me of my childhood times. I am very glad I stayed at the Brisbane Manor and can't wait to do it again.

I love staying here. The staff is great and extremely helpful. The rooms are clean and it is nice having a kitchen to cook in and a place to do laundry when needed. This was my fifth stay at Brisbane Manor and I will be back.

Very old hoteĺ , staff are excellent. Bed is comfortablerooms are clean. Very close to bus train and hospital. All you need unles you are a snob. This is my 4 stay. Will be back again.

Reception staff was salty from the moment she walked in. was told room was ready still hair on floor next to bed and dead bug in the middle of the floor. No towels upon checkin.

The location was good - but that’s all what we can say of positive. Booked a room w ensuite but was given a room w shared bathroom, when telling them that’s not what we booked I was initially told I was lying, only for them later to admit they made a mistake but no interest in fixing it. We left the room the first day to come back at night to find they had taken our suitcases and locked them up - no one on site. Manager told us to present ourselves as at the hospital as we told him we needed the medication that was in the bags. Only when threatening w calling the police did they send someone to the hotel to hand us our luggage. The room was dirty, sheets torns, rubbish under the bed, I’ve stayed at hostels with better quality! But what gets me the most is the rudeness and unwillingness to correct their mistakes. If I hadn’t told them I was gonna call the police we wouldn’t have had our luggage until the next morning at best! How dare they ‘steal’ people’s luggage like that?

Older property that probably needs some updating, but overall it was ideal for our needs. Close to public transport , had our own ensuite, and the convenience of a frigde, kettle and tv was great. We stayed for Magic Round weekend and found getting around was easy. Dont expect thw Hulton, but it was perfect for our needs. Would book again.

I had a pleasant room with a nice bed, a private bathroom, and a small balcony. However, I could not find out how to turn on the air conditioner. Also, the floors are wooden, and the people upstairs made a lot of noise until the early hours, disturbing my sleep. I may have been unlucky, as I've stayed there before, and our room was nice and quiet.
