This was a lovely place to stay. From the moment we checked in the staff were super friendly and offered us help. The room was great and comfortable bed. Great location lots of walking areas and close to shops. The onsite restaurant has awesome options of full meal or snacks. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Place to Stay in Brisbane

Lovely hotel well located opposite botanical gardens and with a short walk to shops. Also easy to drive to coming from south of the city with relatively inexpensive parking provided. Our second stay here and more than happy to return.

Beware that the proper descriptions for the rooms aren’t being given. We were so disappointed with our room. A Deluxe room is not an updated room. Our room felt like we walked back into our grandma’s 1960 home. The bathroom is tired and odd. At check in we were given two free drink cards and one them disappeared from inside our room. The room upgrade was not given. There are parts of this hotel that are elegant and updated we just didn’t get to experience that part of it. The hot tub is only like warm. The jets don’t shoot water out but rather the water is shot from the floor up and it’s COLD! The pool is not heated and they have porta potties outside. We talked to the manager about the bait and switch and he offered free cancellation, nice expect we booked the room 4 months in advance and there were no rooms left in the city. So not a real option. We hunkered down and tried to make the most of it. The lower your expectations the better, or book yourself a true 4 star hotel. The hotel also is not too great for families of small children, the majority of folks who stay here are much older.

The staff were lovely and efficient. I had a fantastic sleep despite the fire alarm being activated at midnight! The staff were very apologetic, and there was no emergency. Loved the bathroom facilities, which included a Japanese-style intelligent toilet. Overall, a seamless and comfortable stay for a fly-in/fly-out quick stop in Brisbane.

Shower head could not be adjusted, sat at a low height and adjustment broken. Staff informed but they didn’t care. Bathroom was tiny and dirty. No water. Areas of the hotel blocked off due to renovations. Long wait for lift to room with our bags as one not working. Room on second floor, supposedly deluxe but nothing deluxe about it.

It's a charming property but is now dated. The staff are wonderful and the location is ideal with the botanical gardens right across the road. Every Sunday there's a wonderful market in the botanical gardens 😀
