Charge an additional £5 on site to park your car. When we arrived at 9 pm, there were no parking spaces available and you had to park in a lorry Bay in the truckstop.
First they didn't tell me about extra payment for parking if you booked from Hotels.com service was awful. They would not come and clean the room unless requested and had to be done earlier? Wouldn't let my son into the gym citinv Health and Safety? He goes to school 10 miles away on his own. Had to go out of the hotel to get to electric car charging and the only non tesla charger wouldn't work. Car park was full..overall dissatisfied and won't book again
Weekend staff were amazing. On Monday the chef was extremely rude and condescending when was told that the coffee machine had run out of coffee and when was requested for a fried egg. She literally snapped at my son when he asked for a fried egg. Not impressed at all! Otherwise this hotel deserves a 5 star rating all over
Very dated bathroom with clear sign of floorboard damage from damp. 2 single beds when I booked a double room. The room door closed with a gap and any wind would rattle it all night. The breakfast was really below average.

Average, generally clean and the staff were courteous
A very tired property but was surprised with a £5 parking fee. This is not a city centre location and is in fact a service station with over 2000 car parking spaces that are not used overnight and you have to pay to park. The staff are fantastic and on being asked to pay I had to scroll thru the app to find that it is stated. But not obvious and certainly not expected at a service station. Note to self l, Go thru every single page, even for a last minute booking!!! But the worst thing was the complaint via the online chat. I complained and did not find the response adequate. I asked to speak to the supervisor and the same operate tried to pass themselves off as the supervisor! Which is obviously via the online chat. I again challenged the initial operator and eventually spoke to a supervisor I think! . They passed me off with a £20 voucher. I am still waiting for a response to my complaint and still waiting for a response. This is hotel is poor, but the staff are great. They are over worked (2 people dealing with many guests for breakfast) one behind the scenes and one front of house. They are not supported by any form of appropriate resource management and approach workload scheduling . However the main complaint is Expedia. You have staff who lie and misrepresent themselves. I am still waiting for a response to my complaint and do not accept your resolution. The complaints procedure does not exist. What are you doing about staff who lie and misrepresent themselves???
I booked 2 rooms, my family stayed in one room which had no air-conditioning. the controls had an error flashing. When I asked at reception I was told no rooms had any air-conditioning. When checking with the other family I booked for, their room was cool.
Check in at this hotel was great and staff were very helpful.
The extra bed requested was not made up so had to revisit reception to ask.
The room itself had broken bed side lights both sides. The door lock was also hanging off and snapped and there were chips and peas on the floor so doubt it had been hovered.
Was fine for an early flight stop over but don’t expect great things.
