Hotels.com states on site-parking available but doesn't make it clear there is a £5 charge. Manager gave me a free pint to compensate me, so service was excellent. Room is spacious. Hotel is a little tired.

Great sleep, food not so much.

The room was ok and the bed comfortable, I managed to get a good nights sleep. However, the food wasn't the greatest, the breakfast choices were limited and the cooked breakfast was cold even thought it was under heat lamps.

So handy for late airport arrivals / departures

24 hour reception so no worries about late check-ins… (might have to let them know if there’s a chance of this though?) Room was great for family of four. Rooms are very quiet - I think soundproofed. Breakfast was really great! I only marked it down slightly on the cleanliness etc due to state of carpet in our room but really pleased for the money.

Lovely room, not so great food

Lovely welcome, helpful staff but understaffed. Room was perfect but let down by the catering side. Good choice of breakfast but hot option was cold. Booked a meal for the second night but was told a lot of options unavailable. One member of staff trying to check in guests and do food orders and one chef trying to help with orders but couldn’t use the till. We would stay again but would hope these issues would be sorted.

Staff are awful, rude, cocky, arrogant and need some training in customer service. Also, clean the rooms more and when you do at least use a hoover

Terrible food - breakfast was inedible and evening meal poor. Room was freezing with no heating control details. Lights didn’t work on the switches and the hallway carpet looked like a pub carpet that hadn’t been cleaned in years.

Easy to get to off the M5, just keep in the right hand lane to turn right as the sign isnt very big or easy to see at night. If you miss it just drive out the services, back around the roundabout across the motorway and back into the services. Restaurant food was nice, we had the steak. We didnt have breakfast as left at 4am. This is the second time we have stayed. Would stay again as good value.
