Room very clean and cosy overlooking sea front.Staff very friendly and helpful.
A slight drawback was a lack of a lift but staff offered to carry bags upstairs.
Staff could not be more helpful and were always happy & willing to talk to guests. Food in restaurant was exactly what I have come to expect from Shepherd Neame Hotels and Pubs. I had room on 1st floor with access to roof terrace which had an excellent view of Viking Bay and the Sea. I found room very quiet at night with only the sound of the sea to be heard in the background.
Every thing from checking in to checking out was excellent, the sea view room was superb, had a wonderful sleep and breakfast was amazing will definitely return

Room was clean, staff friendly that side of things was all good. But room 14 was the smallest room we have ever stayed in it was a struggle to shower or use the loo. Does anyone in house try the facilities out. I am not a large person
Beautiful hotel, wonderful staff, great tea and coffee facilities, fantastic breakfast, great location. Wonderful for families.
Only issue was the lumpy pillows.

Access to my room was up 3 floors of narrow stairs. I was offered a room on a lower level prior to accepting the higher level option, so I guess its a bit 50/50 !
