Peacefull hilltop cottage with huge ocean views!

A hilltop setting among the pines, great for a romantic get-a-way or a serine, getaway for the individual. The property is extremely private with expansive ocean views from every window and a relaxing patio for sunsets. Above the fog line (usually). 3 miles to the beach and 4 to town. Many guests find themselves, just hanging out, a very relaxing and soothing property. Many birds including Pileated woodpecker and Quail. Incredible night skies! Very, very clean (my wife) and comfortable. See photos. Every year we plant new flowers, lots of new improvements, new heating system, new hot water heater, new bed and bedding and new paint. As hosts, we respect your privacy and will strive to make you as comfortable as possible.
During your stay at this cottage, you'll be close to Lone Ranch Beach. Free WiFi and a kitchen are available in the cottage.

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing stay. The outdoor scenery was super lush with views from every angle. The inside was very spacious, and the kitchen was great for cooking! There were lots of cool nearby sights, such as secluded beach views that Steven generously recommended. Overall, the area was very immersive with the surrounding nature. We even got to see a baby bear about 3 minutes out. We had such a good time and would recommend the place to anyone!

Hosts Steven and Beth are great, super nice and accommodating. Views to the ocean are really good, though facing a bit more south. Good area for birding. Driving to Samuel Boardman Corridor is easy and into Brookings about 10 minutes drive. Very peaceful stay!

Steven and Beth were amazing hosts and very helpful with local information! Their cottage was exactly as listed. Beautifully decorated, serenely quiet, and very comfortable. It was stormy during our stay, so the view wasn't perfect. But sitting on the porch, deeply inhaling the forest scent while having coffee, was the most relaxing experience one could ask for! We wished we could have stayed longer! If you're looking to relax and let the stress go, this is the perfect place to stay! A big thank you to Steven for making our time in Brookings magical!

We celebrated our 25th anniversary here and couldn’t have chosen a better place.This property is quiet, private and crazy clean. The hosts, while living right next door, were welcoming and informative, yet not bothersome in the least. In fact, we hardly heard them. The layout of the two places provide a great deal if privacy and sense of security.The view toward the ocean is fantastic!We really enjoyed ourselves here and strongly recommend these hosts and the space they offer.

Excellent location, on a hillside overlooking woods and the ocean. Nice cozy wood-trimmed interior, pretty much everything you need inside. About the size of my city one-bedroom apartment. Hosts were friendly and available, although I didn't need them much! Went seeking peace and quiet and mostly got it outside of a rambunctious dog or two down the hill. Just be careful of the spiders though! This is out in the woods and I had to deal with one on a semi-daily basis. No air conditioner either - I knew this going in - it got a little toasty in there a day or two early on, but I assume in general it's not a problem there.Still really enjoyed my time there!

Pictures don’t do this adorable place justice. The cabin is both cozy and spacious, and the flowers all around the property are gorgeous. And you can’t beat the view. Steven and Beth were fantastic hosts and we felt very welcome.

This was such a delightful little cottage. I needed a respite, a serene and quiet atmosphere. This cottage was the perfect resting spot to sit out with a cup of coffee and enjoy the gorgeous mountain view.I loved watching the hummingbirds and the sunset was spectacular.

Exceptional property, wonderful hosts. We needed a couple days to relax and recharge and picked a place fairly last minute and felt blessed to stumble upon something so perfect. Steven and Beth were incredibly kind and welcoming, and made their remarkably picturesque cottage a lovely private retreat. Highly recommend to anyone who could use a few days relaxing in the beauty of the southern Oregon coast.
