This welcoming cottage is one of fourteen situated in a complex just outside the charming coastal town of Bude and is an ideal retreat for families looking for an active holiday. There is plenty of fun right on your doorstep and you have easy access to some of Devon and Cornwall’s top attractions. Bude boasts three glorious sandy beaches, perfect for buckets and spades or water sports, and an array of local shops and fine eateries to suit all tastes. The town is on the South West Coast Path, so walkers will love discovering a section of this trail with its scenic views.

Stepping into this wonderfully presented two-storey cottage, you will notice the reverse-level design with the living areas upstairs. The rooms are bright benefitting from plenty of natural light and there are calm sea blue tones in the furnishings. Downstairs is a king-size bedroom with a TV, a bunk bedroom with full-size single beds and a family bathroom. Upstairs is a light and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge is a lovely social space with a comfortable sofa to sink into and enjoy watching your favourite films together on the Smart TV. The kitchen provides all the appliances to make meal preparation a cinch. There is ample seating at the dining table, so you can linger over dinner, sharing your favourite holiday moments. Outside, you can enjoy a private enclosed courtyard with outdoor seating. There are also shared site facilities, including a heated indoor swimming pool and a games room.

If you can tear yourself away from the local beaches, the kids will love a day out at The Milky Way Adventure Park (15 miles). Or spend the day together at one of the area’s historic fishing villages, such as Boscastle or Clovelly, both under 17 miles away. If you want to live the area’s myths, then visit Tintagel Castle (20 miles) and discover more about the Arthurian legends.
