We like coming to stay here for the facilities, and especially the heated pool, and comfy beds - but this time didn’t hit. The heating was out in the whole building (I was given a portable heater for my room after phoning reception - but this was not mentioned at all during check in). The pool looked amazing after its renovation, but unfortunately was not heated. Again, this was not mentioned at time of booking or check in, and I believe it has been an ongoing issue for weeks now. The rooms are always clean and tidy and the beds are comfy, although the curtains offer little block out, so the street lights are always shining in, and the balcony sliding doors offer poor outside noise control and ours also rattled all night. Our curtain also had a food smear on it? The inside piano music could still be heard at 3am, and I could also hear my neighbours water pipes and phone calls from my room. I hate writing this review, but cannot bite my tongue when I’ve paid $248 for the ‘experience’. We will not be back unless these problems are addressed.

Wifi terrible. Seems to be an ongoing issue. Unable to use television as a result. Staff seemed uninterested & unwilling to assist. Menu very limited. No steak… minimal beef options. Very old appliances, freezer needed to be defrosted. Unable to adjust air conditioning… dodging itinerants/intoxicated persons whilst trying to enter & exit the property. Unfortunately I had to extend my stay & staff failed to update my key. This was an overly complicated process. Overall, I don’t recommend for the price. More of a cheap motel vibe.

The room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Disappointed in the restaurant. We ordered room service at 8pm. Was told couldn’t do room service as they were too busy. Went past restaurant about 10 minutes later and they were packing up and very loudly talking about going to someone’s party. Not one person in the restaurant. Very disappointed

The property was lovely clean etc. The only thing i wanted to say was there was a spider under the sash on the end of the bed. There may have been more as I woke up with a sting on my chest and itchiness that has left a mark on my chest. I took an antihistamine that stopped the itching, the itchiness is still there. Staff on checkin wasn’t very friendly and bed linen wasn't changed during the week long stay. Parking bays are extremely tight. However rooms were cleaned daily and were very clean clean.

A classic property in its Hey-Day and to some extent it is still, but poor communication at the moment. No notice given that there was a $200 cash bond (or $100 by card) and no notice given the pool would be shut. It is the pool that makes this place.
