Room was quiet, close to shops. However when I called to advise that we may arrive later than expected, they tried to take the payment from my card without advising on the phone they wanted to do this. There are no openable windows in the room, which was strange.

I booked the room for my daughter and her new husband for their wedding night. Check in to get the card for them, by me, was easy and uncomplicated. They were greeted with a cute chocy love heart on their bed upon arrival,nice touch.

Great new accommodation for Burnie!

The hotel is new and lovely. The bed was comfortable. The rooms were soundproof. The view was beautiful. The staff member on in the evenings was just lovely. The staff member on in the morning was very unfriendly, she had a scowl on her face, didn’t make eye contact and barely said two words. Apart from the checkout experience, it was great and I would stay again.

Love the 2 bedroom apartment - it was nice and clean, both rooms with its own en-suite. The view from the apartment was stunning. Just a short walk to Burnie CBD. Would be great if it had more hotel parking space.

Great apartment in a lovely hotel

We had a great stay here in the Executive 2 bedroom apartment. The hotel opened only a couple of months before our trip, so it still looked and felt very fresh and new, just like the photos on the website. There are some lovely toiletries (by Nood Australia) provided in the bathrooms, comprising shampoo, conditioner, body wash and a body lotion. We appreciated the kitchen facilities in the apartment, and really liked the spacious fridge and freezer, especially as there were no minibar provisions to push aside. However, it would have been helpful to have had information about the different wash cycles for the dishwasher and washing machine. The washing machine was quite loud when we ran it. The rooms seem to be reasonably soundproof, as we couldn’t hear our next door neighbours, but I think we heard what may have been their washing machine while we were sitting in our living area. Some things could have been improved. We found the mattresses were quite soft, even though the hotel is very new. The room was overall very clean, but the crossbars on the coffee table legs could have used a good dusting. And the only tea available was Lipton black tea, no herbal brews for an evening cuppa. The hotel is an easy stroll away from the penguin observation area and the city centre. We found a great deal in the post-New Year period, which made it exceptional value, and we’d happily stay here again if we’re ever back in Burnie.

Brand new property, so everything was very nice, very modern and very clean. Good amenities. Handy location to shops, beach and dining options. Although it partially overlooks the busy shipping docks it wasn't any bother. Was a very nice stay.
