My overall experience with the property was amazing, and the staff were very accommodating throughout my stay. However, I attended a presentation to learn more about their membership program, and while we were initially told there would be no pressure to buy, the experience turned out quite differently. After my friend and I expressed that we weren’t interested, the salesperson continued to lower prices and offer different packages in an attempt to convince us. This made us feel very uncomfortable and wasted a lot of our time. The food was excellent overall, but unfortunately, on the last night of my stay, I suffered from severe food poisoning after eating at the hotel. I was vomiting and had diarrhea throughout the night, which was especially distressing as I had a flight the next morning. My friend contacted the front desk for help, and they arranged for a doctor to see me. The doctor confirmed it was food poisoning and prescribed medication, but it didn’t help—and to make matters worse, I was charged nearly $400 for the visit. Given that the illness was caused by food served at their hotel, I expected more care and consideration from the management, but no one seemed particularly concerned. Sadly, due to this experience, I will not be returning.

We waited over 1 hour to be brought to our room and while we waited, we were forced to listen to a pitch about becoming a member to commit to x number of stays over the next 10 years for a certain price. Disappointed by the Service Despite a Beautiful Property I had high expectations staying at Nobu, especially given its reputation and the price point. Unfortunately, the service did not match the setting. From check-in to check-out, the experience was underwhelming. The staff lacked the warmth and professionalism I’ve come to expect from luxury hospitality. We also booked transportation through the hotel, and at the end of the ride, the driver asked for a tip before we even had a chance to offer one—something we always do. The way it was handled came across as pushy and unprofessional. I typically stay at the Esperanza Hotel and was hoping Nobu would offer a comparable experience, but it fell short. The property itself is beautiful and has great potential, but the service seriously needs improvement. Until that’s addressed, I would not recommend it for those expecting a true luxury experience.

Our host we asked to schedule us into Nobu restaurant she never got us the reservation and then we had to wait until seating was available. Great property. my family and I would go back. It’s completely tucked away from all of any chaos of downtown. Rims are nice and spacious. Hotel is beautiful. if you’re looking for something closer to downtown, this hotel is not for you and there are no other hotels near it but it’s breathtaking and exactly what we were looking for.

Beautiful resort for relaxation. The first person hand off after check in is not an employee of the hotel. They speak of a free breakfast, free massages and $500 cash as if a VIP benefit but it’s a time share scam.

Warning ‼️ We have stayed at Nobu many times in the past. DO NOT GO THERE! It’s not the same resort it used to be. Besides the horrific, unbearable, and miserable freezing and windy weather…..due to its location…..the new management has ruined it for everyone…..including guests and staff! They don’t care about anyone…..especially the customer! Every single employee I talked to wants to leave. We cut our stay short and left and went to stay at 2 different hotels…..both of which had ex Nobu employees who left due to how miserable and unhappy they were at Nobu due to management. The word on the street wherever you go around Cabo…..is to stay away from Nobu! Even the food at the restaurant has gone down hill and is outrageously priced. We had a nonstop series of frustrating occurrences which I was constantly left upset and disappointed after repeated requests to speak to a manager who clearly didn’t care. Please hear me when I warn you not to stay at Nobu whatever you do. You will want to turn around and leave immediately and the management will do nothing but disappoint you! Please spread to word to anyone thinking of going and share them the misery and suffering!
