Great people, not-so-great facility

We used this hotel as a one-night pit stop on the way to and from Panorama to cut the drive in half. Although it was a decent price, the rooms we had we both in need of sprucing up and a good cleaning. The hallways are dark with very low ceilings and an odd choice of having ceiling fans that came very close to my 5'7" head. The hot tub was not to be found but I am assuming it was behind the door that had a closure notice issued by the health department. The "fitness facility" was clearly not used very often, although the overflowing garbage cans perhaps told a different story. The quality and availability of the breakfast items was not great, but the staff were clearly doing their best. Same goes to the front desk staff - very cheerful and helpful. Great people, not so great facility.

Very disappointed that we had to be in room with an outside door! Booked in advance so not sure why this happened. Very noisy with cars outside. Curtains did not keep light out and outdoor lights on all night. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Very disappointed considering last stay a month ago was great. Travel thru Airdrie many times a year and likely not staying there again.
