I stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites University in Calgary from July 28 to July 30, 2025, in a Standard Room with 2 Queen Beds (Non Smoking). Unfortunately, I had a terrible experience due to a severe bedbug infestation. I woke up after the first night with multiple red, itchy welts on my arms, legs, and back. Upon inspecting the bed, I found evidence of bedbugs. I reported the issue to the front desk, but the response was very disappointing. I was only offered a room change with no proper apology or professional handling of the situation. This was extremely stressful, as bedbugs can travel back home in your luggage and cause serious health and financial problems. I had to take extra steps to avoid bringing any pests home. I urge future guests to be extremely cautious when booking this property. I would not recommend staying here unless the hotel seriously addresses its pest control and cleanliness standards.

Toilet was loose and wobbly, Bed sheets were dirty , I asked for new and they brought us a mattress cover. Never stay at this hotel again

Good hotel for short stay. There were few days were towels were taken but not replaced with fresh towels. Few instances were coffee and powder cream were not replaced. There was limited dinning area for breakfast and we had to take our meals to our rooms. Staff very friendly and helpful. Not much time to go to pool as mostly occupied for swimming lessons at times.
