Don’t stay here

The room we were put in to was right next to the elevator so we went back down and asked to be moved. We were told that the hotel was full and we could use it or the they would cancel the reservation. Being late in the evening on a long weekend we of course stayed. Entering the room it had a queen bed, not the king that I had booked. There was only 1 bed side table and to shut the bathroom door you had to slide in between the toilet and the counter!!!! On top of that the bed was super hard and had 3 squarish shaped pillows. On check out the front desk staff was confused because our name did not match who was supposed to be in that room! What an awful stay and I will not be staying there again. My husband is a diamond points member and that was not worth the $300 they charged us!

There is just insufficient space to write the review I would like as the two nights we stayed were just great. The grandkids enjoyed themselves as well as the daughter and son in-law. The free breakfast was the best I’ve had in all my years of travel.

My Stay was fantastic from the minute I checked in to when I departed 2 days later. The staff at the hotel are all friendly and helpful. The morning breakfast were very good offering a variety of choices. The location is convenient to access both restaurants and coffee shops. The room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hot tub must be recently renovated as it was beautiful. We didn’t get much time in it as it closes at 10pm but it was still great. The room is slightly dated but it’s clean! Breakfast was amazing! I was expecting the typical continental breakfast but they had bacon, sausage, eggs, waffles and all the fixings. Lastly we got a check in gift of cookies. Who can be sad about that!

The double bed was not great to sleep on at all. Very worn out and creaked every time you rolled over. Also, I realize it’s a pet friendly hotel, but when the neighbouring room beside you lets their dog bark continuously starting before 7AM, it’s very frustrating.

Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful as we had arrived in the early morning. They offered different options to do around town during the day. Providing bottles of water and a package of cookies was an added bonus that was appreciated. Decent free breakfast got our morning off to a good start.
