I booked this stay partly because it had a pool and hot tub. When I arrived, the pool was empty. It took 2 days to fill it and a third for the water to heat. Just in time for my departure. My room was quite dirty. Hair everywhere, even in the towels. There was no conditioner provided, just shampoo. Hotel is pretty run down. Beds were comfortable and breakfast staff were very friendly.

Room needs a deep clean. Dust and debris in corners. The window track in the bathroom needs a clean. There was no fan in the bathroom, had to open the window, but window would not stay open. This is an old building that has been renovated inside but the remodel was done cheaply and quite poorly. But overall it was an ok place to sleep with a decent pool for the kids.

The property put a hold on my credit card for the deposit and 2 nights. I went to check out and i got charged again for the full amount on my credit card when i wanted to pay debit. They didnt even ask. Sondouble charges on my credit card caused a problem for other thinhs i needed my card for later tjat day.

We stayed for three nights in April 2025 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday). The location is easy to access and the subway is close by. The staff were all excellent, friendly, helpful and professional. Our room was slightly dated but very clean. We found the bed very comfortable and there was an extra blanket supplied if we needed it. We could control the room temperature easily. The shower worked perfect and the bathroom overall was spotless, the towels were of excellent quality and there was an adequate supply of them. The small fridge with a freezer was used and appreciated. The continental breakfast was perfect for us and it was constantly staffed by very helpful and accommodating hotel personnel. I used the fitness area every morning (it is open 24/7). There are three Polar made machines; a treadmill, exercise bike and Elliptical and they all functioned well. Towels were provided in the fitness room and the ventilation was perfect for working out. We had a lower level room and on our first night the folks above us were noisy and it seemed with every one of their footsteps we could hear them until midnight. Our other two nights were quiet. Next time we would likely request a second floor room. Parking is readily available but it is a busy place. Considering the very reasonable room prices and our overall first time experience being what it was, we would definitely go back. The staff were a highlight for sure!
