Great size rooms, the breakfast buffet each morning was a nice addition, nothing crazy but enough of a selection to have variety and start the day. When checking in we were told the rooms only get cleaned every second day, but ours wasn’t touched for the 4 nights we stayed which was a bit disappointing. Wouldn’t have minded so much if when booking the rooms they were advertised as no housekeeping. Location was prefect for walking and exploring Calgary and accessing the tram. Would be nice if the rooftop bar and restaurant offered a happy hour, entice guests to have a drink on site after a long day exploring. Having said that we found plenty of fantastic alternatives all within walking distance.

Everything was pretty good except for two things. First the temperature control was off the first day and it was super hot overnight. Second, the pillows... The pillows have the characteristic of cheap synthetic pillows which are firm and high. RIP to your neck if you are not a side sleeper.

We had a great upgrade. There was a large room with everything we needed. We were impressed. The only problem we had is that the room was very hot. We tried to turn down the heat but the temperature was not going down so we shut off the heat altogether. Also the pillows were very hard and plump. We would have liked a softer option.
