There were questionable people hanging outside the property. One elevator is out of service for updating so service a little slow there. The room seemed pretty clean however the windows could use some deep cleaning and freshening up.

Staff were very nice and helpful. Shuttle was always available and fast. Elevator was in rough condition - felt like we would get stuck in it every single time we rode in it. Walls are paper thin - was able to hear all the drilling and noise in the hallway and adjacent units. Rooms were a decent size but really need some TLC. Tiles dirty and broken in the washroom, kitchenette was very basic - not even any cutlery. Part of a smeared banana on the wall the cleaning crew didn't clear or notice. Room not stocked after cleaned. Just a very very basic sub par hotel. Wasn't really expecting much but definitely wasn't expecting the state of this hotel.

Given how close to the Trans-Canada Highway this property is, it is very quiet. I saw several guests with dogs ranging from small to large breeds. Which is awesome, because many hotels do not allow larger breeds. When I travel with my dogs I will definitely stay here.

Great location as it’s along Hwy 1 Trans Canada highway plus you can get a shuttle to and from the Calgary airport. Staff are friendly and helpful in terms of visiting tourist attractions. Far enough from the airport that you can’t hear the planes however we got unlucky to have neighbours on either side of us who knew each other making noises into the night (chatter, open/closing doors, knocks, laughter until about 2 am) that we only averaged sleep for 4 hours for the first two nights. We were too tired to deal with the issue but this was the only major disappointment as this never happened to us at other places we’ve stayed. It seems the walls were too thin or the noise policy was not reinforced by reminding guests at the time of registration.
