I really really wanted to like this place. For the most part I do. Staff is really friendly! The room is nice. But the bathtub walls didn’t look very clean and there was a big long black hair in the tub.

Every door in that room got stuck at the pool really hard, which makes a loud sound. My 10-year-old son went to the washroom middle of the night calling for me because the door was stuck and he couldn’t open it. The pullout couch mattress is like sleeping on a piece of cardboard adjusting the temperature for the shower wasn’t very good. The handles all wrecked the place was clean. Staff was friendly, but the maintenance on these rooms is horrendous.

The staff are excellent, very courteous, friendly and had a sincere smile. I find most Hotels to be the same, as far as facilities goes. Nothing new under the sun. It is the staff that make the difference. And the Sandman has excellent staff.
