Bad experience

Very bad experience. A false alarm went off on the second night of our stay at 3 am in the morning. Everyone rush down to the lobby. A lot of teenage in the lobby, in the hotel and homeless people outside the hotel. Very bad area around the hotel. Hotel doesn’t look clean at all. Moxie in the lobby invites a lot of teenage and drinking people.

As always, the service was fantastic. Got a free upgrade to king-size room, beautiful room, big but I have to be honest. The bed was uncomfortable. this is our second time staying here and the first time was fantastic. The bed was great, but this bed was very, very very uncomfortable. They comped us the parking because of the fire alarm being pulled at 3 o’clock in the morning, which was kind of them as though I never asked for it, but it’s a very nice hotel very affordable and very clean

Fire alarm was set off in the middle of the night, lost of unattended kids running around the hotel, I was unaware of the extra charge for parking and breakfast

Fire alarm went off at 3:00am for evacuation. Ordeal lasted over an hour with no updates. Finally decided to return back to our room. Come morning checkout, we were advised it was a false alarm and were offered $6 comped parking. No hot water available for shower.

Parkade is convenient. But signage isn’t well labelled. Had to walk up 2 sets of stairs will all our bags to get to an elevator. Leaving the parkade was confusing when it came to exits. (Maybe I’m just a blonde 😂) Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel. Clean, quiet, modern and comfortable! Thanks for the great stay!
