After reading some negative reviews we were not expecting the Gite to be very good. However, it exceeded our expectations. The Gite is old but very roomy and has everything we needed. It is in a quiet location and the hosts next door were quick to answer any questions we had. A few minor changes could make it a bit better...The shower should have been mounted to the wall as just having the shower head in your hand isn't ideal. Also maybe a photo of the front of the property from the road would be good as we struggled to find it and had to ask several neighbours where it could be. The pointer on the website actually points to another property further up the road. And the only clue we had was there was a key in the door. Which you can't see from the road and was hesitant to just open gates and walking around houses to find the correct one.I would stay again and recommend it to anyone staying in Normandy. Thanks

Stayed here during the 75th anniversary of d-day. On arrival didn't know how to check in but was not a problem as owner lives next door. Great location to easily get to other places. Resident chickens in the garden made our stay welcoming and interesting. One day owner left us fresh eggs and on the last night of our stay left us a bottle of wine and biscuits. Would highly recommend staying here and would love to come back.

Die Bilder, sowie die Beschreibung entsprechen nicht der Wahrheit Unser Aufenthalt war die reinste Katastrophe! Leider haben wir nichts anderes mehr gefunden und wir waren weit angereist, also sind wir geblieben. Wir mussten als erstes putzen. Das Haus ist sehr Schmutzig und riecht sehr muffig. Das Bettzeug stinkt. Fast das gesamte Inventar ist sehr veraltet, teilweise defekt, versifft oder verschimmelt. In den Schränken liegt vergammeltes essen, teilweise von Mäusen angefressen. Manche Lebensmittel sind sogar von 2019. Es gibt kein WIFI ( obwohl angegeben) und kein Netz. Der Garten ist viel kleiner als auf den Bildern ( wurde im Nachhinein wohl abgezäunt), und das Inventar ist ganz anders als auf den Bildern. Keine Liegestühle (nur eine kaputte). Der See ist ein Teich. Der Herd funktioniert mit eine Gasflasche. Es ist sehr feucht in allen Räumen, sogar jetzt im Juli. Sogar unser Hund wurde es schlecht und er musste sich ständig übergeben, was wir sonst nicht kennen. Bei uns hat sich die Vermieterin nicht gemeldet, es gab auch keine Übergabe. Der Fernseher funktioniert nicht, der DVD ist kaputt. Der Sat-Receiver gab die Meldung an das der LNB einen Kurzschluss hatte und deshalb kein Signal empfangbar war. Man antwortete es hätte vorher funktioniert. Der Sat-Kabel war am Anschluss total locker, da ich vom Fach bin, habe ich es nur gekürzt und neu verbunden. So wurde es auf mich geschoben dass der Receiver defekt ist. Ich würde das "Haus" nicht Mal meinen schlimmsten Feind emp.

Accueil bon mauvaise literie chambre du bas donnant sur la piece de la propriétaire avec 3 chiens plus chaufferie tres brillante surtout la nuit tuyau de gaz pas au norme devrais etre changé depuis 2019!!!!tres dangereux la vaisselle une crepiere en gise de poele etc ect ustansils de cuisine

Séjour à proximité de Cambernon

Location située dans un hameau, à proximité de Coutances, voiture indispensable. Parfaite pour explorer le département (Cotentin, Mont St-Michel, plages du débarquement...). Location spacieuse, nous étions 7. Les manchots sont vraiment sympathiques.

Maison vétuste

Heureusement, nous n'avions loué que pour 3 nuits. L'électroménager, la gazinière, la plaque de cuisson et le four sont endommagés avec de la rouille, de la graisse et de la poussière. Étant donné l'état, nous n'avons pas fait de cuisine. La maison il y a de la poussière et des toiles d’araignées. Aucun réseau Wifi et il y a un problème avec la réception téléphonique. La maison est froide, il n'y a pas de chauffage, juste un poêle à pétrole en guise d'appoint. Les espaces vert ne sont pas fait. Il est essentiel de bien rafraîchir cette maison avant de la louer. (Nous avons fait des photos pour preuves)
