Excellent Canberra Hotel

The hotel was well located with many restaurants and cafes near by and walking distance to many tourist attractions. Staff were super friendly and engaging. The one bedroom apartment was spacious and pristine with a lovely view of the mountains. The Avenue was one of the best hotels we have every stayed in and we will be back !

One bedroom apartment was really comfortable - you could live there! All amenities we needed including laundry off bathroom (but unseen unless needed). Location is a short walk to city centre. Has parking on site (although very tight) and room service available or restaurant attached. The staff and service here are a level above the norm!

Top notch property, excellent service. Very close to bars, restaurants shopping and the Canberra tram system. Excellent restaurant (marble) downstairs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Excellent room, very clean and modern. Very highly recommended!

My only but significant complaint about this hotel was the complete lack of any USB or USC charging points in the room and that the desk lamp was inoperative. There were plenty of power points but that wasn't helpful if you're not travelling with a full recharge cord and plug but only the charge cables

Staff member who checked me in was rude and abrupt and could do with some training on customer service. Otherwise we did enjoy our stay at The Avenue. The apartment was well equipped and lovely and quiet. The location is great with an easy walk into the city or nearby restaurants in Braddon. Would definitely consider staying there again
