It';s not a 4 star . No bedside light , breakfast food had run out by 8am , no info about wi fi or hotel info in the room .Tiny towels and only 2 , Sheer curtains in the bedroom so no block out curtains and also no privacy . Wax stain as in a huge hard wax area on the carpet about the size of a dinner plate as soon as you walk in . As we departed yesterday , the door handle to the main exit door came off in my hand ! This hotel is a disaster . Even budget hotels in Asia are better run than this . Also no real coffee. Most hotels offer the option to purchase an espresso. ....your 1 option for coffee uses powdered milk ...undrinkable . Zero stars . SO bad .

They have "Please service my room" door hanger tags in the room, but when I hung one, my room was not serviced. When I asked at reception why, I was pointed to a tiny sign on the desk, of the type that no one reads when checking in, especially when very tired, saying you had to arrange at reception to have your room serviced. Nonsensical & moronically bureaucratic.

We stayed for one night on our way out of town. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Rooms were clean. The bathrooms could do with an update but for the price it was just what you’d expect and need. Breakfast had a good range of hot and cold foods.

Staff at check in were very helpful and professional. Upgraded my husband and I to a nicer room facing the main road. Upstairs, good sized room, clean & tidy, bathroom & shower good too. Internet was down our first day but spoke to staff at front desk next day and they helped us to get connected . Only tea & coffee facilities provided in room and a few glasses. All in all we were happy with our 3 day stay and found staff to be very helpful.

Fair condition, average clean done. Floor needed good vacuum, earring from previous guest found on floor. Dirty bed linen and blanket screwed up and stuffed in wardrobe floor. Shower head needs replacing.

Room was not disabled friendly as advertised. Indeed there is one step to get into the building! Room, whilst spacious, resembled a school excursion room quickly converted for adults during the weekend. Deep cleaning required, with carpet requiring stretching. No bedside lamps, with bed straight onto brick wall. Bathroom a tight fit for any adult, with one inch step to enter. Metal in shower rusting and tiles in shower poorly laid, with opportunity to remove toe nail if standing near offending tiles. Only stayed here because of all the roadworks, with Northbourne Avenue and one bridge blocked. Would I stay again? Probably not. Room 112.

BE WARNED - THIS PLACE IS FAR FROM IDEAL. The room and restaurant were reasonably clean but the floors in the corridors were appallingly dirty and unvacuumed, right down the the bread crusts and half empty food containers that were still there, ground into the stained carpets, this morning after our three day stay. Not one of the four or five ABC TV stations was available on the room TV, three of the four mattresses badly need replacing, there's only one dim light in the room and the room was noisy - no chance of sleeping in with kids yelling in the corridors from 7am and car doors being slammed outside from dawn onwards.
