Great location. Rooms are good but starting to show their age. Parking is limited ... you might end up in a parking garage 400m away which is a bit of pain if you have a lot of bags. Hard to beat the location!

Comfortable beds, central location

Very comfortable beds, great location only a short walk from a massive shopping centre. In-house restaurant was lovely with an cosy bar. There is a very hip “food court” with interconnecting wine bars just across the road. On-site parking was a bit tricky as it was full but good that the lit up sign displayed how many parking spaces were free (so I went around the block and 1 space became available).

We had such a lovely 2-night stay at Novotel Canberra! From the moment we arrived, the staff were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful, making us feel right at home. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well set up for a relaxing stay after a busy day exploring. The location was fantastic – right in the heart of the city, so it was easy to get around and enjoy Canberra’s sights, cafes, and shops. We also loved the hotel facilities, especially the pool and gym, which made it easy to unwind. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious, with plenty of variety to suit everyone. Overall, we left feeling refreshed and well looked after. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Canberra, whether for work or a weekend away. We’ll definitely be back!

Convenient and comfortable.

convenient location near to city centre, restaurants and attractions. Pool was warm and pleasant and very well maintained by dedicated staff member who took pride in his role. Nice cosy bar with books to read. Parking is limited but excellent options very close by.

Great location in the centre of town easy to access everything, hotel has all the amenities you expect for novotel, room was spacious and bed was comfortable. I would probably not recommend driving, it was difficult to drop off items as limited drop off bays out the front and car park was full. It was very busy due to school holidays and it was a bit chaotic in the lobby, lifts were slow, we were early and had a great breakfast but people were waiting in line for a table when we left. Overall still a good stay and we had buffet breakfast included in our room rate which made it very good value for money.

terrible hotel, never again, false advertisement, outdated, elevator does not work, parking full, paid for housekeeping, did not receive it, was told i will get refund, never received it, was charged instead $70 for unknown reason, never again, ruined my holiday
