The property was in an ideal location for our needs. Next door was a construction site but impact was minimal. The room(s) were of a good size but old fashioned. No smart TV and facilities were dated. Never enough tea, coffee or sugar sachets. Numerous dining options were nearby as were shopping and fuel outlets. The property just needs an update.

I thought I’d found a good deal for three nights but no. We were not advised about multi storey building being built right next door until we got into our room. A letter explaining it, with 2 bottles of water, 3 pieces of crappy fruit and ear plugs were supplied to compensate it. Who does that? We should have been advised before booking. The hotel is old and dated, that’s fine but the bed was soft and sagging, really uncomfortable. Light globes in bathroom broken. Battery in aircon remote flat. Would not recommend this hotel.

Disappointing

Overall disappointing. Executive room with king bed was spacious, however I challenge the “premium bedding” claim. Disclosure that there is a construction site next door would have been appropriate. Hotel acknowledged the issue in the room and provides a care package to mitigate. Only the earplugs were in our room. The other 2 items were not. Construction started at 6.36am

Disappointing Stay

Very disappointing stay. The hotel is very run down and in desperate need of a total renovation. The walls and doors are all marked in the rooms and hallways, the bathrooms are very outdated, the carpets are all stained. Considering the price of nearly $200 a night and the hotel chain name, it is not what I expected and very disappointing.

The rooms look like they were from a boarding house in the 90’s. Rooms aren’t sound proof at all that’s why each room had 2 sets of earplugs available. We could hear people talking in the carpark outside, kids running in the hallway etc. no lifts so we had to lug four suitcases up a flight of stairs. When we asked to cancel we’re told no we couldn’t get our money back so we’re forced to stay. Worst hotel on our trip and pricey for what it is.

Why i want my money refunded

The hotel wouldnt allow my son to stay there. I dont know the full story . My son has stayed there before. Last time he stayed there he was there for a week . I would like my money refunded please. As i am only on age pension ,money is very tight .
