My family and I only had one night booked but had to evacuate as an emergency when we realised that the bedrooms had a significant amount of mold. My small daughter was sneezing and coughing and complaining of itchy skin. I also had itchy skin. Once we noticed the mold (just before 9.30pm) it was urgent that we leave the property immediately - I booked a hotel room which is where we fled to, and where we stayed instead. Secondly, there was no smoke alarm - it had been removed from it's bracket. Both my husband and I couldn't locate another smoke alarm.Another unacceptable issue: the bathtub / shower (it is combined) had so much mold, and when we checked in, I actually spent at least 30 minutes cleaning the shower grout (moldy) and the keys in the tub because they were incredibly moldy. I didn't want water to get contaminated by the mold that was everywhere, which is why I cleaned it. No one should stay at this unit - at least not until it is properly and fully fumigated from mold and mold spores, and a smoke alarm re-installed. Luckily I was able to get a refund from Stayz but if I knew the issues with this unit I never would have even walked in the door!
