9 out of 10 I traveled with my family of four to AVA Hotel, and we had an amazing time. Our room was very spacious and had a breathtaking ocean view. The hotel is very large, but they offer golf cart service, which made getting around easier. Even without it, most areas—rooms, restaurants, and amenities—were within a 15–20 minute walk. The entire property was very clean and well maintained. The pools were clean and well organized, with different pool areas designed for different age groups. Cabana reservations were available at an extra cost. The beach itself was clean, although there was still a noticeable amount of seaweed during our stay. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, ranging from Mediterranean to American cuisine. For dinner, most restaurants required reservations, and many were fully booked if not reserved early. There were a few downsides that, if improved, could make the experience even better. Upon arrival, we were told we would be added to a WhatsApp group to receive daily event updates, but this never happened. I even called to follow up, but we were still not added by the time we checked out. The hotel offered nightly shows in the theater, but they were fairly basic and not something we felt compelled to watch every night. Additionally, the shower drainage in our room was not working properly, causing water to overflow into the bathroom. Recommendation: I suggest requesting a room closer to the center of the p

The rooms and hallways smell damp that is something that should be improved . Also when walking down the hallways a lot of the walls look like they need repair. Wallpaper is peeling off .

The hotel had nice options for dining, particularly in the evening. But reservations were very hard to get. While almost half of the tables were empty at most restaurants, the hosts weren't letting anyone in without reservations. Definitely something that they should improve. To make matters worse, the in-room dining service had very long wait times. On the north side, the wait for 90 minutes. If you couldn't get place in a restaurant and come back to order in-room at 10 pm, expect to eat at midnight.

Decent size room. No microwave. Toilet and shower are in the same room. Inconvenient when multiple people or family is staying together. No fan.Hot tubs were a nice touch and the ocean view Food was okay. Restaurant’s were average. Best was the Iron Butcher. The worst was the Italian restaurant. Literally left full plates. Buffet was average. Nothing amazing. Not a fan of all the shops and restaurants being indoors. Felt like a shopping mall. I would say it’s good for a couples quiet getaway. Pools are nice. Didn’t care for majority of the lounge chairs facing the resort instead of the ocean. The beach is small. You can walk from one end to the other in 10 to 15 minutes.

Room was slightly dirty like they cleaned it in a rush, hair on the floor and shower but otherwise it was fine. Stunning view of the ocean and pools downtairs. The staff was impressive, multilingual.. most of the check- in staff speaks to 6 languages, and very friendly and helpful. Food options are way better than Nickelodeon and Hard Rock but the buffet still needs more protein options. On the alcoholic drinks were terrible everywhere. We kept asking for different drinks to find something that hit but no luck. We tried margaritas, palomas, mai tais, long islands. I dont known if its their mix or the soda water they use on the other drinks but it was gross. I ended up with an espresson martini and sipped on one after dinner. Dont miss the obstacle course in the salt water pool, that was tons of fun for everyone in the family.
