Pros: Beautiful views, corner room with ocean view was beautiful, and staff was very accommodating. Great location, in the middle of everything but at the same time, the hotel gave a resort feel for the moments you just want to stay on the resort and relax. Cons: AC did not get cold in the room, however, the fan made up for it. Food options were not great at all. Breakfast was good and the hibachi restaurant was great but that's about it!

First of all on arrival we were sent to a room that was not on the picture and had to pay an extra$260 to get the upgrade. We then were given a ticket for a shared cabana and when we found it were told that we were on the wrong one even tho it was the correct number. We then had to move to another area. Staff were constantly trying to make us buy off the main menu when it was supposed to be an all inclusive. We were upgraded to the main restaurant for our inconvenience however still bombarded with waiters for us to purchase from the main paid menu. We did not know what we were eating and it was disgusting. We also ate in dark.My partner then became violently sick so spend all night ill. We had to have someone up to the room to deal with the overly blasting air conditioning so they had to deliver blankets it was a total gong show. There was bird fecies on and in the swim up pool adults only infinite where people put their hands. Apart from the view of the ocean Save yourself 1000s and go somwehre else this was atrocious for what was supposes to be a special romantic night!!!!!!!!!!!

Music was so loud could not sleep well each night at the party deck. Room was so hot that we could not cool off once in the room. Could not relax in the room. We were always desperate to leave the room and be outside where at least it was breezy. The room was horribly hot because of the a/c not working. The maintenance people could not fix the issue or get us transferred to another room. Desserts were mainly gelatin/jello in each dessert and even the cheesecake was terrible. Do not recommend! Will update if i am refunded!!

Friendly service and buffet food was decent. What I did not like was that DJ music goes on until midnight, or later. Rooms need soundproofing. Even on the 10th floor of the altitude tower, you can hear the music bumping all day and night. Sleep was next to impossible and I don't feel rested. The wind is very strong and whips around like crazy on the balcony. The divider to the next room was broken and hit constantly against the balcony. The sliding doors were difficult to keep closed and every time you open them, a strange noise whistled in, as though an alarm were going off.

Would not be staying here again. Outside of the staff at the Altitude the service was very poor, management needs to pay more attention in the customer service department. The staff were not very friendly and not very helpful. Also they seem to be very short staffed. One time we went to dinner for the Mayan show night and we are still waiting for someone to come and take our drinks order, no one attended to us. Another dinner, the Mexican show, my husband had to go and find some to ask them for cutlery so we can eat our food. I have stayed in other hotels in Cancun and this is the worst.

Great location as everything is in walking distance. Breakfast was decent but we got tired of the same rotation as we were there for 7 nights. The rooms are really small but that’s expected when staying in the city. Overall we would stay again.

Spring Break Getaway

This was our first time traveling to Cancun and we loved staying at the Krystal Grand Cancun. The staff was very friendly and helpful and our room was very clean and comfortable. The beach area was clean and we loved the Bali bed we used one of the days. Overall it was a great trip!

Me and my best frienf stayed at the Altitude of Krystal Grand Cancun. Our stay was amazing and relaxing. The room was gorgeous and taken care of each day. We absolutely loved our stay at Krystal Grand Altitude. The rooms are well equipped and spotlessly clean. The staff is attentive and very friendly. This all inclusive resort has several restaurants and there is food options for everybody to enjoy. There is also a Starbucks that is included. What a nice addition! The gold sandy beach by the hotel is excellent. No rocks anywhere to be found. We just had an excellent and very relaxing vacation. Thank you Krystal Grand Altitude!!
