Our room smelled like sewer. I had to go to the front desk 3 times to get my room changed within the first hour of being there. They kept sending staff to spray air freshener or bleach spray to try to rid the smell. Loud construction next door. They have cockroachs in the hallways, one was inside one of the restaurants running across the table. My second room progressively smelled like old urine/sewer as the week went on. They again came with bleach spray and sprayed it into the air conditioner vents. They had security that wasn't good. On 3 different nights myself and the young ladies I was traveling with were stalked by drunk men. We were only able to eat the eggs, hamburger, pancakes, lasagna from the Italian restaurant. The rest of the food was not good. Not good choices for kids either. We ate French fries every day to get full. The kid area smelled awful like sewer. The room service didn't answer in the middle of the night. The phone in our room had a bad connection, it hung up all the time during calls to the front desk or to housekeeping. The beds are hard, the pillows are small and cheap. I went to the supervisor to make my complaints and he gave me paper to write a letter. I left the letter with him when we checked out. I still have not received a response from them. Only positives, nice pool, nice beach, friendly staff. I will not return to this place, neither will our group of 33 people. None of us would recommend going to this place. Pick another place!!!

We loved our stay at Crown Paradise. There are so many dining options to choose from, and plenty of activities. The property is a bit dated, but clean. And the service was great! We loved Maria, the concierge, and Jerry the waiter from the 8th floor breakfast room. They were amazing and super friendly!

Upon arrival, the staff at the front desk were rude and did not seem eager. JESUS the bell boy came to the rescue and sorted things out to try to help me get my room on time. We went up to the front counter to talk to a lady named Natalie, who did not even look me in the eyes and kept speaking Spanish, avoiding me completely, which I found was really rude. However, Jesus the bad boy was helpful and did what he can in order for me to be at my room as soon as I could. Which by the way I was told was three didn’t end up to get my room till around four and if it wasn’t for Jesus, I wouldn’t have got it then because the front desk did not care. The property was nice. The pools were very crowded and everybody put their towels down in the morning in order to get a spot. Most of the staff aside from the front desk was kind and hard-working. The rooms were decent except for the last day for some reason they decided to apply paint on my walls, which smelled all night long. Having two children with me was a bit concerned about the chemicals. But of course, no one cared enough to explain why they would put paint in the room while somebody is occupying The front service counter doesn’t answer the phone doesn’t care to help. They seem rude when you ask him questions as if you’re bothering them.

Do NOT Book!!!! We travel a lot and this was the wrist place we ever stayed at. Roaches at dinner (see picture), very out dated, rude, didn’t have hardly any entertainment at pool and beds are hard. I could go on for days! It was my sisters birthday and they didn’t even bring anything to room like most resorts do. Air conditioning in room didn’t work, place smelt like sewer. Made a complaint and no one even did anything to try to make things better. Security was hounding our group of 34. We travel all the time and never experienced anything like it.

We stayed for 5-days with 4 other adults. From check-in where they argued with us about the rooms we reserved, to check-out where they had additional charges at restaurants we didn’t visit, nothing but unfriendly people, mediocre food and outdated facilities. Beach is beautiful and Ubers to shopping are about $7 USD

The property was lots of fun for the kids and adults! We had fun at all the pools and water park as well as zip line and wall climbing. We enjoyed the night time shows we went to. The down side to the resort is the dining options. Lunch time options were limited to buffet, snack shack or Asian buffet. The other restaurants were not open at lunch time. They could use a few more restaurants or larger menus as options were limited. Overall experience was excellent for our first all inclusive trip
