🚨 DO NOT STAY HERE — WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE 🚨

I am writing this review as a serious warning to anyone considering Cyan Cancún Resort.
This property is misrepresented online and should not be marketed as a resort — or frankly, as acceptable lodging at all.
The most alarming part of our stay was that there were NO accessible electrical outlets in the room.
I had to unplug the TV and use my own extension cord just to charge basic devices. That alone should disqualify this hotel from operating.
The mini‑fridge did not work — it was hot instead of cold, making it useless and unsafe for storing drinks or food.
The curtains and bed pillows were visibly dirty, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and hygiene.
The bathroom situation was even worse:
• Terrible plumbing, causing a persistent foul odor
• No shower door at all, so water floods the bathroom every time you shower
• The overall smell and condition made the bathroom extremely unpleasant to use
Before arrival, the hotel ignored emails and phone calls. During the stay, there was no meaningful front‑desk support to address any of these issues. No urgency, no accountability, no attempt to resolve anything.
The conditions were so bad that we checked out after just one night and immediately booked another hotel. We moved to Aloft Cancún, which so much better.
This hotel is a scam and if you are considering staying here to save some money DONT!!!
