I stayed here previously in 2019, it was such a good experience that I wanted to come back but unfortunately I can't say the same about this stay, The property was so charming and now it seems like there is new ownership or management and it has become very corporate. The palapa is gone and the staff are so rude. I did not feel welcome here at all.

The room and view were excellance - The hotel steers guest to the buffet room for all meals. the two other meal rooms require reservation even turning guest away with about half the table vacant. The major meal room had a buffet setup in summary the food had many issues for example - I could not tell the difference between the, beef, the pork and the chicken. All look the same. The beef was so hard you could drive a railroad spike with it. We left the hotel for our last 3 evening meals at outside restarurants. Will not stay here again

The place was great. Staff was friendly and awesome through and through. The facilities were a little dated and we did not know they were actively undergoing major construction. The food was good but nothing to write home about. They had many pools but they were too cold. All 3 of their jacuzzis were not even bath water warm, the ocean was warmer. It would have been nice to have a hot tub to offset how cold the pools were.

Even though the hotel was a fair distance from the city of Cancun, it had a number of attractions handy to it and public transit was a snap. The proximity to the beach and hotel itself was great. My only reservation was the food - not bad, just pedestrian.

The staff was extremely helpful. My wife is disabled and they accommodated us in every possible way including lending us a wheelchair for our entire stay. Friendly staff; good food; the other visitors were also friendly. Emporio Cancun is a beautiful property and well cared for. My Spanish speaking ability is limited at best, but that was not a hindrance, since many staff members know a little bit of English and quite a few staff members were fluent in English. I want to give special mention to a front office employee named Shadayci (I hope I spelled it correctly). She was my primary contact at the front desk & helped me on a daily basis. Her exceptional efforts made this trip enjoyable & quite honestly, touched me. This was my first vacation in 10 years, & it was a good one. I hope my wife & I go back again!

All of the staff were helpful and friendly. After a couple of days of interactions they began to remember you. The beach was beautiful. Our beachfront room was wonderful. The ac had a hard time keeping up with the humdity. There were many food and drink options with the all inclusive and minimal if any buyup sales options. I would highly recommend the beachfront all inclusive package.

Extremely poor customer service, staff are unfriendly and do not care whatsoever about the experience they provide. Checkin and checkout was very poor with little information. Hot tub was very dirty full of dead bugs. Rooms old and not maintained well. Nowhere near enough chairs or umbrellas for guests. Many guests like myself had to sit on my ONE towel I got for the day for pool use. Seemed like a motel on the NJ shore where broke college kids go to. I would never recommend or go back there. Was cracky.
