The beaches were beautiful and we enjoyed the day there several days. Compared to other resorts it was much more relaxed, meaning I did not have to get up at 5am to get a chair at the pool or beach!

This property is full of thieves . We were given a VIP band but when we redeemed it in a store we were given few options which we picked .. 30 minutes after 3 men and 1 women were very nasty and snatched our gift bags and went away back to the hotel . That bag had our own belongings now and they refused to return it back . We had to snatch back the bag to get our belongings and lets them take away their gift bag . Such a horrible experience this happened in front of all my family members and kids . Such a horrible experience . I won’t recommend anyone go this place ever again and I will make sure anyone in my circle never goes to this place ..

The hotels in the group are amazing, dinning options are good. It was hard to get reservations maybe need to have more options Had a bad experience ( bad luck) in our room, the air conditioning started leaking in the closet during the day and when we arrived in our room at night there was water coming out of the room! The cleaning staff was amazing and very helpful. The public relations staff was attentive and tried to resolve , however we expected to at least have our clothes dried and folded but they sis not have that service at the time … they were partially dried and returned. My son and I had food poisoning, not exactly sure where but it is a risk. However the rest of the time it was amazing , pools ans ammenities are great. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Staff is friendly and serviceable.

The property is beautiful and really does cater to a family friendly crowd so it was great from that perspective. However, they are constantly pushing their marketing/time share and try to corner you constantly despite us saying “no” many times. It is downright pushy and they make you feel obligated. To be clear, they pushed us into their 2+ hour presentation solely to get access to the Grand waterpark, by telling us the only way to do so was by attending the marketing presentation. Then at the presentation I was asked multiple times if I was “actually single” and was asked to confirm in writing that I am “legally single” and not married. I’m not sure why I would have been pushed into the presentation if this was a prerequisite when it was clear I was not there with a spouse. Bottom line, beware of their marketing. Also, note that your resort credits will actually not be usable on much of anything. Expedia, hotels.com members (even VIP) are treated like second class citizens. You may also not get the bed/room type requested. We were not assigned as per our booking and when i requested a change, they suggested my only option was a Governors suite. At a significantly higher cost. Then when we finally got to our room, the beds were dirty. Stains on both. Had to wait till almost midnight for housekeeping to address. Otherwise though, the experience was nice. All of the above unfortunately left a bad taste for us.

Constantly being sold the timeshare experience, and we both got food poisoning. The property is big and beautiful but the staff just doesn’t seem super helpful. Our room wasn’t ready until 5 pm and I tried using the app to know when it was ready, but I never received a message and the chat was super unhelpful. We had to go to the front desk to check to see if our room was ready which from the pool is quite a trek. Overall we’ve decided we won’t be back. Too sales motivated.

We took our family of 4 (kids 10 and 12 years old) for a week vacation. This property was nothing short of amazing! The staff was wonderful and always gave great service. The access to the beach was easy and close to the property, and the beach itself was wonderful. The beach staff did a terrific job of trying to keep the seaweed at bay the best they could. The pool area is huge and they have activities throughout the day which created a lot of fun. Our VIP concierge, Juan, was wonderful as well. He ensured that our trip was great, and we had everything we needed. The room was comfortable, and they all come with a hammock on the back patio. The food was all good, however you have to make reservations early for the restaurants. We stayed at the Sunrise location, but we had full access to the sister property Nizuc next door which was pretty cool. We took a day and ventured to Playa del Carmen and Cozumel, and we had access to the Palace in Playa del Carmen as well. I highly recommend this property for all ages! A couple of days on the beach, they had a volleyball tournament for high school aged students. They offer so much to do for anyone looking to do a bit more than just sit on the beach. We will definitely be visiting again!
