The hotel was kept very clean. The food at the buffet was decent, I preferred the restaurant dinning. There were many pools to choose from and the foam party was so much fun! The staff were all friendly. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

DONT WALK RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Lets get started with the fact the their service is a total joke, when you check in they give you no details besides here's your keys. Manuel from the front desk is an absolute moron, rude , unfriendly and not a care in the world about customer service. I checked in Thursday night and handed keys to valet and my car was return next day around noon with huge scratches on the side, I kindly asked to as to a manager and a manager was never available. At first I was very understanding but when it took 3 days for me to constantly ask about the status of a report I lost it. 1 day prior checking out again I asked why its taking so long , Manuel was so rude with Not a care in the world not understanding and yet again no manager. He told me that they were still looking into it yet they asked if I had done a report which I had done 3 DAYS AGO! when I started speaking English so other guest heard what was going on all of the sudden they were moving and getting things done but to their convenience only law enforcement can look at their video surveillance . I called their local police department to file a report but security gave me the wrong address so they never arrived. When I went into their department they told me they arrived at the other royal solaris and of course we weren't there. I highly recommend staying away from places like this, I didn't feel safe anymore so leaving my room and my personal items unlocked wasn't an option.

The property was very clean and staff service was great - very friendly! We booked the deluxe room with ocean view and jacuzzi and it was worth it! Got privacy and woke up to a beautiful sunrise everyday. Restaurant options were limited wish there were more options but great food over all. Highly recommend booking with Bovogante. Along with that make sure to book reservations with the restaurants as early as you can as they book up fast! It was a bit difficult requesting for a shuttle service with the hotel, however, ubering to and from the airport is very cheap. I ended up booking a shuttle service from a company which costed me $60 CAD whereas uber would’ve costed me $40 CAD. I also recommend doing an excursion with Aquaworld! They have special packages and look into it! We did the jungle tour and it was so worth it!! Would not recommend jet ski as it gets quite boring after 10 mins. Overall, and amazing experience! Highly recommend staying here

Not like it used to be

We had not stayed in this resort for 22 years and I know there were many changes over the years. Overall we found it to be an "OK" experience. The employees were helpful and gracious but if you are not wanting to join their Club or membership programs, you have to be FIRM with those people. They repeatedly would stop us to sit through the sales program and we were just there to relax. There were a few things I thought odd: You could not have any alcohol prior to 11:00 AM. Not a Bloody Mary, Mimosa or Bailey's in your coffee. They did not have Guacamole and chips in the snack bar or at any buffet. They did not have breakfast sausage but if you covertly asked your server, they would provide bacon...but it's not a menu or buffet item. The air conditioning grill blew down on the beds and froze us out and then when we turn the temp up....we were sweaty. Just a bad placement. Finally if you are disabled, the ramps are very steep and few and far between. You will need an able-bodied soul to assist. I must sound like a "Karen" but I just want people to be aware of a few things that are important to us as travelers. Pictures from room 1522 window.

We had a very nice stay here. We found that it was suited more towards families and there wasn’t too much for adults to do. Property itself was beautiful and clean. Food was good just wished there was more variety.
