I' m not sure this property truly qualifies as a VIP access. Although its located in the city, it does not have beach access as announced. Noise level at night can be an issue due to thin room doors as people coming in late can easily be heard. The room safe also had malfunctioning buttons and we needed a special key just to use it While the room was clean the matress and pillows were extremely uncomfortable, I was eventually able to get a softer pillow, which helped a little but overall the sleep quality was disappointing As an Expedia Platinum member I asked about complimentary upgrades (which are part of the Platinum benefits) but the staff member Alfredo told me upfrades were only available for an additional charge What REALLY left a negative impression was what happened on our last morning. My partner and I were enjoying a special, intimate moment around 9:30am when housekeeping knocked. I responded Yes? but she didn't reply-she appeared to be listening to an audio message on her phone. About three min later she knocked again. When I answered, she said 'Did you know check out is at noon? I said YES and she left, but the interruption completely ruined the moment Overall, the experience didn't meet the standard I expected, especially for a ''VIP access property''

Clean and comfortable, staff were quick to respond to questions. With a car the location is great only 6-10 minutes to beautiful public beaches. Restaurants and pharmacies close by. Not all windows had mosquito net, hope that gets fixed soon.

Overall comfortable place to stay in Cancun. Short drive to the beach, walking is a bit far in the heat or rain. Building looks new except some windows don't have mosquito netting. Staff were quick and helpful

This is a basic hotel with clean modern rooms. There is tiny pool without any amenities. The location is in the suburbs. To go anywhere you need take buses, cabs or drive. Inconvenient except to sleep. The ac is good. Limited demand Ning choices nearby.

My husband and I recently returned from a 2 week stay at Viento Suites. This was our second time here and I can guarantee it will not be our last! It truly feels like a home away from home. We stayed in the suite that has a living room/kitchen area and can not recommend it enough for a slightly longer/extended stay. It was so convenient to have the extra space, full size fridge and cooking area so that we were able to purchase some groceries and make some quick meals. The AC worked great in both the bedroom and living room area and our room was always kept very clean and replenished with fresh towels. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The garden and pool area were clean and inviting and we enjoyed every minute we spent out there! The area surrounding is very safe and it is conveniently located to get to just about anywhere with a short walk or car ride (beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc). The absolute best part is the staff… Casi, Antonio and Meri were always so friendly and helpful and you can tell that they truly care about their guests. In fact, Casi recognized my husband and myself right away even though it had been over a year since we were last there. She goes above and beyond to always make our stay special. It was actually hard to say goodbye, but we know it’s actually see you later as we can’t imagine staying anywhere else! Thank you for another amazing stay and we can’t wait to see you next time :)

I wanted somewhere relatively quiet and off the resorts area. Another reviewer also mentioned a sushi restaurant nearby so that really sealed the deal for me. As a solo female traveler, safety was also a factor. This property checked all the boxes. The room was comfortable. There was a single bed in the living room which I never used. I would have preferred some sort of couch with a hideaway bed so I could use the space as a true living room, but it was fine because ultimately I never ended up watching any tv. The fridge was a good size and it had a microwave on top of it. Being 5’1 I couldn’t reach the microwave but it wasn’t an issue for me as I never cooked any meals in the room even though it also had a full stove. The main bedroom was comfortable and had its own a/c unit which was nice. The only access to the bathroom was through the bedroom. Regarding the hot water, it’s important to follow the written instructions on the wall: Turn on the hot water all the way, THEN add cold water in until the temperature is how you like it. Follow these rules and you’ll be able to take nice long hot showers like I did. The pool area was nice and peaceful. Something I really appreciated about the property is that several times I saw cans of Raid in the hallway and by the pool and never once did I have any issues with bugs. The property is about a 1 minute walk from the Wyndham Garden Downtown, so for airport shuttle and activities I used that location. Overall, good stay.
