Hotel was bigger than I imagined. Great options and activities during and after hours. Food was great, only issue was the room was freezing and I didn’t bring pants to wear to dinning options so missed that. But buffet was great, so didn’t miss much, staff was very friendly and helpful.

The staffs are friendly but they didn't explain very clearly, especially about the local trip to Isla Mujeres. When the time I checked in, a male staff introduce us about the hotel facilities and recommended us to join a local trip. We accepted his recommendation and paid special price at USD$50 for 2 adults and 1 kid. He said that we will have a presentation in the next day morning with breakfast too. I thought it was a kind of meeting before we go to the trip. In the next day morning, we waited at the meeting point and they sent us to the agency and 2 guys came to me and said that we have to join the presentation for 90 minutes, we cannot leave within the 90 mins of time. My daughter was not in mood and I think we cannot stay in the restaurant for

We loved the friendly staff. The food was delicious. The sunset views from the Steakhouse were incredible. We were a family of 5 with ages ranging from 27 to 77 and we all had a great time. A microwave in the villas would be helpful.

Pros: This resort is well maintained and updated. Very friendly atmosphere and very good service in overall. It is a kinda small resort but it's good enough to relax during vacation. It's all in convenient. Cons: Summer is seagrass season, very dirty ocean, but this is not controlled by resort. Also, this resort only has 3 formal restaurants, Italian restaurant is ADULT only, Steak house is very so-so, Mexican one is very good. I feel like too less food options, even though in Buffet which is much worse than Cruise buffet. Pina Grill(Pineapple head, Mexican) is the best restaurant where close to ocean front, highly recommended. There will be perfect if they can add more food options for this resort. I still recommend this resort for those ppl who are not food picker.
