I had a bad luck experience with absent hotel management and a situation that feels like a travel industry scam. I'm out a big chunk of change but was happy to find respectful and professionally managed establishments nearby so as not to ruin a vacation. I hope it's not a regular thing and I just got the short end of the stick or was wrong place, wrong time on the other end of someone else's bad day. I don't have much love for this hotel and will have a forever bad memory of it but this part of Oregon sure is nice in late July.

This is our favorite place to stay in Cannon. It’s cute and the rooms are so great, range from simple for a great price to large with clawfoot tubs and fireplaces for a reasonable price for the level of upgrade! Walkable to the beach, and lots of great restaurants. We love MacGregors for a drink and Sleepy Monk Coffee for breakfast! We have stayed a couple times now and have loved each visit!

Very clean and has old world charm. The staff is amazing and they have bowl of saltwater taffy for their guests and coffee and tea. The room I got was very small but comfortable. It was right on the main strip so it was a bit loud but for the lowest price in downtown cannon beach, this was better than expected. The hotel was in the same building as a whisky bar that was quite good. Overall, this is a really clean and basic accommodation that I highly recommend.

Location is very convenient, room was comfortable, and staff members were very helpful. Two criticisms: Roku TV setup was very unfriendly and slow, not worth using. In the shower, the body wash, shampoo, etc. was attached to the top of the shower frame - totally inconvenient.

Check in took longer than it should have. Also not enough towels in room - had to ask for more. And found the room was not great. Not as clean as it should be. Could not walk around barefoot. Floor felt dirty. Very mediocre for the price.

The cozy queen is a very small room, and the AC was difficult to work. The room has a fan to plug in, we used often. The location is convenient, walkable distance to everything. The cottages have a lovely front yard with hammocks and a fireplace for property guests only.

Nicely removed "classic" 1950's motel with excellent bed and bedding, fireplace, small but functional kitchen. Great outside area including BBQ, hammocks and fire pit. Very "beachy" feel.

Lovely small property within walking distance of the beach. It was so much fun on July 4th with small town parade going right by the parking lot. We toasted smores on the firepit in the courtyard!!
