Welcome to The Barracks, an inviting studio apartment ideally located
in Cape Town’s dynamic city centre. Nestled on vibrant Bree Street,
this tastefully furnished retreat offers a chic and comfortable base
for discovering the city's top attractions. With acclaimed eateries,
artisan coffee shops, art galleries, and cultural landmarks just steps
away, you'll be perfectly placed to take in the best of Cape Town.
The Space
This thoughtfully curated studio blends contemporary design with
practical features, offering everything you need for a seamless stay.
The sleeping area includes a plush queen-sized bed dressed in soft
linens, with generous cupboard space to store your belongings. A
designated workspace which is complete with a desk and supportive chair
makes remote work or planning your adventures effortless.
Just off the bedroom area, the private ensuite bathroom is fitted with
a walk-in shower, offering the perfect spot to refresh and recharge
after a day exploring the city.
The fully equipped kitchen includes all the essentials for preparing
anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner, while the lounge
provides a welcoming space to relax, featuring a cosy couch and access
to Netflix so you can enjoy your favourite shows.
Tall windows bring in natural light and frame the ever-busy Bree Street
below, with partial views of Table Mountain in the background; a scenic
bonus whether you’re sipping your morning coffee or enjoying a quiet
evening in.
As a special perk, guests can also enjoy access to Lighthouse, an
independently managed rooftop venue situated at the top of the
building. This space includes a stunning saltwater pool, reliable wifi,
and a casual lounge area which is perfect for catching up on work or
grabbing a light bite from the deli. Please note that Lighthouse
operates separately from The Barracks, and any food or beverages
purchased are for guests’ own account.
