From Sunrise to Sunset you can take in the stunning views from the living, dining room and kitchen. The wrap around porch provides relaxing outdoor spaces to read, relax, sip and Sea! The Surf View Bungalow has recently been renovated in a modern, coastal vibe. It`s laid back feel is a great getaway.



This fabulous bungalow is one of the closest homes to the ocean in Cardiff.

We have the best direct views of the surf! The owners just completed renovations on this property to make it a relaxing place for their guests to visit. We strive to make this an ideal getaway for you!



In order to sleep 8 people in beds, 2 people will be in each bunk bed. They are queen size beds. Depending on the make up of your group (adults/children/infants), you`ll need to determine if this is suitable. We recommend no more than 6 adults.



This is 2 unit duplex, you are viewing/renting the bottom floor. The backyard and front grassy area are shared with the unit above. You will climb stairs to enter the property, once inside, it is single level.



Parking for 2 cars on the driveway.



Beaches, Shopping and Dining are all within 15-25 minute walk (South to Cardiff and North to Encinitas)

Car necessary to see San Diego tourist attractions.

Cardiff-by-the-Sea is a laid back coastal town conveniently situated between Encintias and Solana Beach. We have 2 fantastic beaches (Cardiff State Beach, San Elijo State Beach) just across the highway. Both are great for sunbathing, walking, surfing and boogie boarding. Seaside Market, Starbucks, dining and shopping are just down the street. Head into Encinitas or Solana Beach Cedros Shopping District for more options.



Beaches, dining, shopping is all within a 15-25 minute walk (1-1.5 miles). There is a pedestrian walkway just across the road for safe for walking, bike riding. Car is necessary if you plan to visit San Diego.



Regarding the train. It is primarily used by Sunliner/Amtrak as a 5 car passenger/commuter train. 2 trains (one north, one south) about every hour during commute times, and it tapers down at night and middle of the day. The train passes the house in 5-7 seconds. Occasionally there is a freight train, which takes about 30 seconds to pass by the house. Most guests find it a fun, kids like to watch for it.
