Excellent location and good for around £120 a night but wouldn’t pay more. Buffet breakfast was excellent; super location; really friendly welcome; lovely Welsh touches in the decor everywhere. There’s no outside opening windows so corridors smell fusty and of something like shake n vac. Our room was airless. Air con turned off in night so we both woke with a headache. Bedding was clean; bed amazingly comfortable. However room was dusty in places, dirty marks on furniture and all over light switches and needed a deeper clean.

Gem of a city centre hotel

Beautiful room and attentive, friendly staff. Breakfast was lovely and location couldn’t have been better. The only improvement would be to have a coffee pod machine in the room rather than instant but other than that our stay was ideal.
