Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Especially the breakfast Maitre D who went out of his way to be helpful and add tomatoes to my full English breakfast. Not so helpful on overnight resident parking charges at £12 per night. Quite an unpleasant surprise!

Beautiful!

Check in took a while! Other than that, absolutely fantastic. Service was great. Private rooms and no sound from next door. Gorgeous showers! Definitely stay again

Comfortable stay but a few irksome niggles

Overall the hotel and rooms were spotlessly clean and smelt great. Very friendly staff in restaurant on morning for breakfast - a lovely older lady (unf didn't get her name) showed us around, checked our dietary requirements and was generally very warm and welcoming putting the whole family at ease. Despite having 200+ guests for a Kwik fit conference, she was still friendly and helpful. Another gentleman ?Tomasz on realising the coffee machine wasn't working properly made me a cappuccino from the bar that was lovely. Food was also delicious, good selection and nice veggie sausages. Overall very pleased. Beds and bedding including the single cot ones in family room were very comfy. Elemis toiletries lovely touch. Only 2 niggles that are not clear when booking online - despite pre paying we were expected to put down a £50 refundable payment in case of any damage (makes sense for a luxury hotel or one with a stocked mini bar, but seemed excessive here). Secondly you have to pay £12 per night for parking. This info is available online when you search but is not obvious and is not on the booking confirmation. Plus in multiple places it just says parking or self parking and doesn't mention the surcharge clearly everywhere. The principle of paying for parking when you already pay for the hotel room and when space is hardly at a premium, seems wrong too. Understand it is walking distance from ICC but as a hotel customer it is hardly like we can park elsewhere for free. Irksome.
