Serene Lake Home w/ Canoe & Big Forested Yard

Welcome to our peaceful lake access home available for a limited summer stay while we’re traveling abroad.

This is not a typical Vrbo rental but a well-cared-for, newly furnished (2025) family home that we live in with our two young children. We’re looking for guests who will enjoy the space and treat it with the same care and respect.

The Home

* 3 bedrooms (including an office with a Murphy bed)
* 1 bathroom (accessible from both the primary bedroom and hallway)
* Gas fireplace (remote-controlled)
* Split AC in each room
* Two decks:
* One off the primary bedroom (second floor)
* One off the living room

The primary bedroom features a king bed and private deck access with patio doors overlooking the backyard and tall evergreen trees, offering a peaceful and beautiful view.

Outdoor Space

Enjoy a spacious fenced backyard with a fully furnished patio and a new Weber grill for outdoor meals.

The yard is fenced, with a fully private wood fence on one side and a metal fence on another side, where neighboring homes may occasionally be visible.

Due to the surrounding evergreen trees and safety considerations, no fire pit is available.

Lake Access & Location

While the home is not waterfront, you’ll have private gated lake access (keys provided):

* Beach 2 – ~5-minute walk
* Beach 1 – ~10-minute walk

Enjoy access to:

* Canoe
* Paddleboard
* Fishing gear

Note: At times, the lake may experience seasonal algae, and swimming may not be recommended. In those cases, we’re happy to share nearby river beach locations (~10 minutes away).


For Kids & Activities

There’s something here for all ages:

* Large yard with play features and a ninja course
* Bicycles (kids & adults)
* Ride-on power wheels car
* Access to 3 nearby playgrounds:
* 2 at the lake beaches
* 1 at a school just 2 minutes walking

We also have baby items available upon request, including a crib and stroller.

Kitchen & Living

The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for cooking—we love to cook and have stocked it accordingly.

This home is intended for a quiet, private stay
* Registered guests only – no gatherings, parties, or outside visitors
* Minimum stay: 21 nights. Available for stays between July 1 and September 5.

Serene Lake Home w/ Canoe & Big Forested Yard offers its guests barbecue grills and laundry facilities. The front desk is open around the clock.
