While the property was previously considered oceanfront, recent coastal erosion and the addition of large rocks have altered direct beach access. Guests can now easily reach the sand via a short walk to either the nearby state park entrance to the north or the beach access path off Carolina Beach Avenue to the south. A convenient hose is provided for rinsing off sand before entering the unit.
