This is Jean Claude Bessudo’s best work and project to date. Aviatur built an oasis in nature WITHOUT disturbing it. Nature is the star of this resort - as it should be. The staff is super attentive and the facilities are well maintained. The food options are plentiful and delicious. The National Aviary of Colombia is close by and is not to be missed. I am of Colombian descent and will return. It’s just beautiful.

Above excellent in all aspects of the resort. Staff were friendly and helpful with a smile. Gym is well equipped and very clean. Restaurants offer gourmet food in a mostly private setting. Highly recommend

our anniversary trip had an extremely bitter beginning. We drove over an hour to get to the hotel once we attempted to check in but were denied access to our bungalow because we had left our passport in our hotel in cartagena (were only going to stay for 1 night). Our family member would send through text a photo of our passport. i spoke with general manager and was told the same thing that their policy would not allow me to go to the room (which is paid for through hotels.com not the hotel) we explained that they would get the copy through text once our family member got back to where our luggage with passport was but was again told no. we sat for almost two hours in the lobby being attacked by mosquitos. i asked to purchase mosquito repelant and was told they didnt have any until the reception gave me some almost gone bottle from a co-worker. when the passport finally came in they changed completely. Like nothing had happened. we were taken on a boat to our bungalow. The place was breathtaking beautiful pool room. we were given a welcome drink. unfortunately the telephone in room did not work and they attempted to fix that day and came back the next day and finally got it fixed. I got stuck in the shower because sliding door wouldnt slide.we ordered a floating breakfast for the next morning for 9;00 am, we did not get it until 10:15! they did end up giving us credit for it and the food was delicious. after so many issues we were a late checkout

The property is beautiful but I can only give 2 stars after deducting a star for each of the following: Service, started by giving us a cheaper room that we booked, pools are fill with seawater and no cleaned properly, outdoor shower was broken, they couldn’t fix it and ignored our follow ups, they try to inflate our final bill with mini bar items that we didn’t consumed. Location, very sketchy to get to the hotel you have to drive through one of the worst unpaved roads in Cartagena where you can get mugged anytime, the beach is super small and the water smells and dirty like in a Laguna. We tried to relax in the pool in our bungalow but there are hundreds of boats going back and forth all day, local people super aggressive try to rent you jet ski all the time, they even come right in front of your bungalow by water. You are going to be isolated from everything so you can only buy food, drinks or anything you might need from the hotel and their prices are outrageous.
