Great hotel! Clean, stylish, comfortable, convenient location and super professional and friendly staff. I have nothing bad at all to say about my stay. I would definitely stay here on my next visit. Two things.... the front desk manager with the high puff hairstyle is absolutely gorgeous! The only thing I didn't like was that the hotel does not use/have washcloths. Breakfast was included with my room, but be sure to order things exactly how you want if you are not used to the Colombian way to cook certain items. Overall the breakfast food was not bad and the restaurant manager was VERY NICE and accommodating. I was pleasantly please that a good number of the staff was bilingual. Easy checkin. Room was very spacious. Easy walk to both the Walled City as well as Gethsemane. It was a nice long and hot walk, but we actually walked up to the CARTEGENA sign on the beach in the heat! However we took a taxi back. But that's to let you know it's doable. I definitely recommend MOOD for anyone visiting. The rate we got was amazing as well. THANK YOU!

Mood Matuna was an excellent choice for our stay in Cartagena. The staff was excellent. In particular, Marjorie and Maria made our stay very enjoyable. Their excellent hospitality, professionalism, attentiveness and sunny disposition made our trip. The rooms were very spacious and the housekeeping staff were great. When we decided to stay in the Walled City we knew that it was going to be bustling, noisy, and crowded, but that was something we wanted to experience. The Walled City is old and everything is not aesthetically pleasing, but that was not something we cared about. So, if you want to be in walking distance of Getsmani, La Gorda Gertrudis, the Clock Tower, Plaza de Santo Domingo and Castillo de San Felipe de Barajas to name a few this is a good choice. Thank you again to Marjorie and Maria from the Grant Family (Kevin, Sonya, Bennie & Anitra).

The party bus comes around so be prepared for that. They don’t have a microwave but it’s plenty of spots you can eat at. All in all the stay was amazing. Room is big, bed is big, we stayed in room 507 and any black Americans this hotel is the one to choose if visiting the city!

I was very happy with my stay at mood matuna, staff was very friendly and very accommodating. I felt safe in the area and with lots of interesting areas to visit that is a walkable distance. There is even a small grocery store nearby if theres stuff you need for basic essential needs. They also have a restaurant that also offers room service. Food was definitely good and priced reasonably it was my go to place to eat. If i have to rate this place it would definitely be 5/5 the stay was comfortable and i was really happy of this choice for my stay. I would highly recommend staying here.
