fine for a short stay

Great location, basic accommodation. Needs renovation especially the bathroom, mattress not very comfortable No lift but help was provided to carry luggage

Moderately satisfied

I stayed at I Vespri during my solo trip in Catania for a total of 3 nights (in 2 different rooms). The first room was fine for the bedroom and everything - pretty cute and comfortable enough bedding. I was, however, annoyed with the shower. It was a handheld shower head that didn't fit in its hook, so you had to hold it the whole time. The shower curtain also didn't do much to keep the water in (especially considering I was trying to maneuver the stream so it wouldn't make a mess). The heater made some pretty awful noise when it turned itself on, but I had earplugs which drowned out the noise. There was also street noise (but again, earplugs). The second room was a bit nicer, also cute, had a nice view, and had a better shower, though it also was a bit of a balancing act to get the water pressure right so it wasn't blasting out of the curtain. The front desk people were super nice. They were friendly and able to provide great advice on visiting the city.

Good place for a quick break.

The Hotel location is very convenient. Marco was a great host and provided all required information to us. We stayed for just one night, so nothing much to comment. The bed was not very comfortable. The room was quite big and clean.

A pleasant surprise

A VERY interesting place! We enjoyed the look and history of the place. Worked perfectly for a family of 5. Our room had 2 bedrooms (one with a full bed and one with 2 full beds) with a bathroom. There was no air (common for Europe) but the 3 windows helped. A nice lady (who spoke absolutely no English) brought our family champagne with flutes. We requested breakfast at 9am and we came down to tables set up just for us with a nice variety of food already on it. FYI: our only problem was when we arrived the note on the door said to call them at a given number. We had no European phone so the nice parking lot attendant across the street called for us. Also if you are rafting the river, the trip ends just outside the tower.

Lovely little hotel, staff are very helpful and friendly, made sure we got a taxi booked to the airport at 4 in the morning. It is hard to find, though it is sign posted so watch out, we walked straight past it several times! Lovely view from the balcony and is right in the centre of the city with minimal noise at night so no problems sleeping. Will definitely return!

Good value

Simple little hotel with super friendly staff. I was quickly shown to my room and given helpful tips. I had a very comfortable stay in the large and clean room. Of course when sharing a bathroom, you run into some usual issues, but I found it to be clean and readily available.

Great hotel

From the outside the hotel looked like a building from a ghost town however the story on the inside was really something else. I didn't see a single insect in my room or bathroom which for £20 is very surprising. Comfortable bed, clean towels, air con, TV, surprisingly fast wifi and great staff (who offer lifts to the airport for a cheap 20 euros). Would definitely come to this hotel again.

Il soggiorno è stato veramente bello, dalla cordialità da parte del proprietario che ci ha accolto,alla pluzia che ho potuto riscontrare all'interno della stanza. Una pecca però la devo contestare, ed è questa, il sito di Expedia affermava la mia prenotazione della camera quando in realtà la proprietaria del B&B mi affermava che non lo era stata prenotata affatto! Cerchiamo di essere più efficienti la prossima volta.

Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!

Das einzige Manko ist, dass das Hotel anfangs nicht leicht zu finden ist aber ansonsten war es dort wirklich schön. Man hat seine Privatsphäre, es ist trotz Innenstadt- Lage sehr ruhig und vor allem ist es sauber! Ich hatte ein sehr großes Zimmer mit Balkon zum Innenhof. Selbst wenn man etwas an Reise- Utensilien vergessen hat, wird man auf einem Schränkchen dort auf der Suche nach dem Nötigsten (in meinem Fall Adapter für mein Ladegerät) fündig!

Poco curato (copriletto coi buchi, cucina sfornita), poca attenzione agli ospiti (personale disinteressato), lunga rampa di scale per salire che può essere scomoda per viaggiatori carichi di valige, ma: ottima posizione ed economico.

Hôtel agréable et bien placé

Petit hôtel très agréable, à l'ambiance romantique et bien situé dans le centre historique de Catane, proche de toutes commodités. L'accueil a été très sympathique et chaleureux. La propriétaire de l'hôtel a par ailleurs été réactive aux messages envoyés en préparation de notre arrivée. Très bon rapport qualité-prix (NB. nous y étions hors saison, au mois de mars) Un petit bémol pour le petit déjeuner en sus, servi dans un bar voisin au personnel pas franchement très agréable.

Расположен в историческом здании, с высокими потолками (5м по моим ощущениям), на 3м этаже, лифта нет (чемодан нести на себе). Очень уютно декорировано и комфортно для отелей такого типа (по принципу хостела), ребята-владельцы уважают Икею (кухня и покрывала оттуда).Отличное белье, полотенца. Дружелюбный персонал. На время проживания выдаётся связка ключей (3 из них от входных дверей). Ощущение, что ты проживаешь не в отеле, а в собственном доме. Городской налог взимается по 1.5 евро/сут (максимум до 3-х сут). Из аэропорта можно добраться до отеля на Алибусе за 5 евро, остановка Этна (дом 143). От остановки до отеля 3-4 мин пешком.

sehr zentral, nette Gastgeber

Ich habe 4 Nächte hier verbracht. In der ersten Nacht hatte ich etwas Pech, da mehere junge Leute bis vier Uhr morgens in ihrem Zimmer relativ laut waren. Aber das liegt natürlich nicht in der Verantwortung der Gastgeber (sie verlassen das Gebäude gegen 21 Uhr). Die folgenden Nächte waren absolut ruhig. Insgesamt war mein Zimmer jedoch sehr hellhörig, ich konnte beispielsweise das Husten meines Zimmernachbarns hören. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und nehmen sich viel Zeit bei der Ankunft oder bei Fragen. Das B&B ist sehr zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Mein Zimmer war sehr schön. Es gibt Kaffee und Tee jederzeit und einen Kühlschrank für alle.

Soggiorno piacevole ed economico

Soggiorno piacevole. La struttura è piccola e il bagno in comune, ma il servizio e il rapporto prezzo/qualità lo rendono un'ottima scelta per chiunque voglia pernottare a Catania senza spendere cifre eccessive.
