The room was at the top floor of a house, 4 floors, with a nice little roof terrace No lift, so not good for people with mobility issues. Nice a clean, staff helpful. Tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast in the morning. Close location to the main piazzas, duomo, etc.
Photo of the roof terrace. This was nice to get away from what has now become, (aside from the historic places) a scruffy, graffiti covered city. Such a shame from when I was here years ago.

Great located

Perfect located to explore Catania. Nice and clean place, but good to know it’s on the third floor without elevator and the bathroom is not attached to the actual room.

Great place to stay. Super easy to walk to the lively area of town (less than 5 minutes away). Clean room, comfortable beds. Super spacious. Plus a vending machine and fridge in the communal area that you can use. Breakfast was okay, not many options but enough to have a bite before you start your day! Just beware that the bathrooms are detached from the rooms (this is on the listing but you may miss it)! Not an issue at all as it was super close to the room. Also note that the rooms are at the top of the building, so you have to climb 6 flights of stairs to get up! Not an issue for us but good to know if it may be a problem for you.

We arrived at about 3pm and searched for about 10 minutes to find our hotel. Luckily we spotted a small sign in front of a locked door. We needed to phone the owner for access. The hotel was 4 flights up the stairs but the room itself was nice. The hotel was very close to the plaza with lots of restaurants and shops available. We only saw one staff member the whole time, with very little interaction. The breakfast was very limited but still did the job. They arranged a taxi ride for us to the airport for 3am for 30 euros.
