Discover Gîte Vignes et Mines, an authentic miners’ house turned charming holiday home, located in Chalonnes-sur-Loire, at the heart of the Corniche Angevine between the Loire and Layon rivers, in a UNESCO World Heritage site.



Built in the early 20th century to house coal miners, this traditional home has welcomed several local families before being lovingly restored. We have renovated it with care, preserving its original character and furnishing it with vintage finds.



With 4 bedrooms, the gîte accommodates up to 8 guests—perfect for family getaways, trips with friends, or colleagues, close to Angers, Cholet, and Nantes. Enjoy outdoor meals with the plancha grill.



On request, we offer a table d’hôtes, giving you the chance to savor local cuisine and Anjou wines in a warm, authentic setting.



To enhance your stay, the owners also offer a tourist train tour through the surrounding vineyards, showcasing the iconic Layon landscapes. Halfway, you can enjoy a wine tasting at a local estate.



In summer, at set times, you can access the swimming pool just opposite the gîte, in a garden with open views over the Layon valley.
