The Sleep Inn is now our Go To place!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Sleep Inn for 6 nights over two trips in the months of August and September this year. The place is located in the perfect spot for quick access to the Ravenel Bridge, the park, restaurants in Mount Pleasant. The best thing about the hotel are the people. I was there for a family emergency and the staff consistently inquired about how my son was doing. They couldn't have been kinder.

Not high expectations but it was worse than that

The a/c in our room was either freezing or burning hot. The bed was extremely unbearable and the room stunk like a wet smokey bar. Desk service was fair but didnt go out of way. The rooms only clean every 3 days and trash cans alway over full.

This was our second stay at this hotel and we were very disappointed this time. It smelled like mold when we walked into our room and then we saw that the rug underneath the air conditioner was soaked. There was also water in the bathroom when we walked in - which was at 12:30am. We won't stay here again.

I chose this location due to it's proximity to attractions we came to visit in Charleston. The room was clean, bed was very comfortable, shower was small but amazing, occupancy was high but the room was very quiet. The receptionist made great restaurant recommendations.

We chose this location for a 2nd stay due to it's proximity to restaurant Page's Okra Grill. I changed my reservation online from 2 nights to 1. Even though I had email and app confirmation of the 1 night stay, showed them both to the employee, they had no room reserved. It took about 20 minutes to check in. Since an employee at the hotel initially recommended Page's to us, we will stay here during future visits, as we eat our way through Page's menu lol.

I visited Sleep Inn Mt. Pleasant - Charleston for the second time, but now I brought 4 more people from the EU. We enjoyed our stay, besides perfect service, I would like to stress that it is perfectly located. Easy/ quick access to downtown, Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, and it is in the middle between Folly Beach and Isle of Palms. I hope I will have a chance to come back.
