A very good hotel in the French quarter of Charleston. Attentive staff, nice rooms. Excellent location for walking in historic Charleston. We chose not to rent a car because parking can be a challenge in down town Charleston. It was a very nice stay.

The Loutrel is a very stylish hotel - modern and bright, with friendly and helpful staff. Lots of lovely free snacks, room mini bar with a free cocktail hour each day. We highly recommend and will return if ever back in Charleston.

We loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful, seems brand new. The bathroom and amenities were great! The bed was very comfortable. The turndown service with baked goods was so nice! We loved the homemade granola, included delicious breakfast, free snacks in the room and drinks and snacks available all day in the lobby. We didn’t make it to the happy hour, but it sounded great. Would love to stay again! We highly recommend! We also enjoyed the free bicycles and helmets.

Everything was very clean easy walking to areas around the waterfront. The only issue was we were disappointed with the breakfast and the early evening snack. Better choices and quality of food was expected for the price of the room.
