The front desk was less than thrilled to check us in. Then said the cleaning staff were running behind. So not only is it a late check-in (4pm) we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. The second guy that came to help with check in was a lot friendlier. You have to pay to park, but we had already paid for parking for the day elsewhere due to having such a late check in. We were given an adjoining room to a couple with young children. I have 5 kids of my own, but on a vacation I did not bring them along to, I’d rather not be joined to a room with crying children when I’m trying to sleep.

The cleaning service was the best, most friendly. When checking in on Tuesday the young man was not friendly at all. Everyone else was a delight.

Beachfront but all rooms are not oceanview. Many have no balcony which was a bummer. Literally like 10 parking spots also which was not convenient as I am handicapped. The area did feel safe and pretty decent accomodations. It was clean as well.

Great location. Only complaints are mattress was really bad -- sunk in the middle. Balcony Sliding glass door handle comes off and door hard to open. Bathroom toilet paper holder keeps falling open and TP falls on floor.

The Palms are located on the beach. Our room had a partial ocean view which we could enjoy from our balcony. Our balcony had chairs and a table. The room was clean and modernly decorated. Comfortable bed. The hotel has a quaint modern beach vibe. Breakfast was good enough. Plenty of food options just a walk away.

Overall condition of the property is less than impressive. I’m honestly shocked at all of the positive reviews that I’ve seen for this establishment. Surrounding Property and room itself were poorly kept, dirty, and overall just subpar. Had to pay $30 a day to park, there were only about 10 parking spaces total for the hotel, so then had to pay an additional $4 an hour for street parking which adds up over the course of 12 hours for overnight parking. Nickel and dimed every which way. Won’t be returning.

The room was clean, and access to the beach was very good. Fun restaurant with a great view of the water right next door. Parking under the building is weird ... basically a create-your-own parking space on the cement and gravel area under the building. Elevator was out of order both times I've stayed on this property, making it a challenge if you have luggage and are staying on the 3rd floor. The desk clerk must've been having a bad day; he hung up on me on the phone when I inquired about early check-in, and was unfriendly and uninformative during the check-in process. The price was right though, so all in all we enjoyed our short stay at this resort.

Rude staff. Pool was closed unexpectedly and they didn’t even offer an apology, let alone compensation. They said they could cancel my reservation. Thankfully, Expedia offered me some OneKey cash. The next morning I asked the front desk at 10AM to have housekeeping clean the room and change sheets. Returned at 8:30PM and it was still dirty. They offered to bring me sheets to change them myself. It’s not a cheap hotel but the service feels like it.

The room was comfortable, and I appreciated the outdoor restaurants. The food was good too. I know this is NO big deal, but the Oceanfront hotel of Ilse of palms charged us $6 fee, b/c we booked thru a 3rd party vendor. Distasteful.
