Inadequate parking spaces at the hotel. Walls are very thin, making it VERY noisy. The boardwalk to the beach was closed as well. Would not stay here again.

Partial beach view was no view, property needed updated, photos were deceiving. Toilet ran all the time, had to change rooms. music next door was extremely loud into the night. Bare minimum continental breakfast. Minimal parking, had to park 1 block away. Price did not reflect the quality. Would not return.

When we arrived to our room there was what looked to be 2 large urine stains on the bed. This was after a long 5 hour drive and winding down in the room. After speaking with the attendant we were moved to a room with 2 queens that also had mold in the shower. My wife is now sick due to her allergy of mold. I must say the view was somewhat nice.

There was considerable noise from the work being done around pool area and redoing walk for beach sccess. Room was clean and comfortable although there is random noise at night. Hard to figure out the source, if it's mechanical or guests. Our room was near the elevator so we heard it everytime it stopped, then walking and talking from guests. Breakfast was adequate but a couple more tables would be nice as there is room in the area. Some guests put plates on counter tops and stood to eat. Hotel does call it 'grab and go'. Excellent beach access when using walkways beside hotel. Limited on site parking and hotel does have access to municipal parking. Hotel charges a parking fee either way. Isle of Palms is a great beach and must deal with crowds so this hotel is convenient to restaurants and stores and having paid parking is necessary, I suppose. So it's a mix between noise and limited space vs clean room and beach access.

We had a good beach view and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast. Comfortable and clean rooms. Parking is a challenge due to municipal policies when you first arrive. City police told us where to park to sign in and get parking pass upon arrival.

We were in an interior room. The room reminded me of a holiday inn. Tub and shower needed work. Staff friendly, and I noticed they vacuum all of the sand in all of the exterior hallways … a nice touch.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was average but decent. You have to ask for food to be restocked in the morning and thats even if they have anymore. Boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, bagels, and a machine that makes pancakes. The hotel is convenient to the beach, however the boardwalk was down for repairs, as was the pool, which we werent aware of until we arrived. Thats one of the reasons I chose this hotel was because of the pool. The elevator was concerning, we were roomed on the 3rd floor and had to use the staircase the whole time because the elevator takes forever to open. Overall it served its purpose which was convenience to the beach but we will find a different hotel next time.

No handicap parking. Elevators did not work. (Husband is a handicap Vet). Around 10 pm, there was a very strong smell like air conditioner was burning. Called the front desk, no answer, left message, waited till 12 am, and then walked down. Desk clerk said, "I am only a night auditor, I will let manager know in morning". Really??? I could not sleep, got a headache from the odor. Tried to open the patio door, only to smell cigarette smoke from the bar. Bathroom sink & shower water would not go down. Pool closed. The next morning, I walked down to office (girl was friendly, I asked for manager) He was rude. Acted like I was making this stuff up. Said he got the elevator fixed, well someone else I knew was staying there the next day, said the elevator broke down again. He also said he would charge me half for the hotel bill, but I did not receive half. I wanted the whole thing reimbursed for all these issues. We used to live down there and needed a nice trip. Needless to say, the moment we arrived, could not find any handicap parking, only to be told, "oh there is a parking lot about 2 blocks over". Seriously...for a handicap Veteran. The so called break that we both needed, was not happening and we were disgusted by the whole hotel.
