What I liked about the English Inn of Charlottesville is the charm complete with tea service in the comfy entry lounge, cleanliness and generous accommodations with the room I had and a very lovely and full buffet at breakfast. What I was disappointed with was the receptionist at the front desk; after a long drive (6 hours) I was greeted, or should I say not greeted so warmly by the receptionist. She was slightly polite however, not offering information about check out, and time and place of breakfast. The receptionist I spoke to at check out was sweet and wonderful.

Our family and friends stayed at the English Inn when we were in town for my son’s wedding. The inn was lovely, clean, quiet, and offered afternoon tea and a delicious hot breakfast. Our suite was spacious and comfortable and we had zero issues or complaints. I would definitely stay at the English Inn again during our next extended stay in Charlottesville.
