Pets are allowed in every room. This may be great news for pet owners, but it is a serious health threat to those with pet allergies! My husband sat on the sofa for about an hour before his eyes became itchy, watery and extremely bloodshot. Thankfully, he did not have an asthma attack! I carry allergy meds at all times because he reacts so significantly to pet dander. We mentioned this to the clerk at check out and she said they get that complaint often, but they still do not designate ‘pet-free’ rooms. Maybe if Hilton gets enough bad reviews, they will do something. In the meantime, we’ve sworn off Hilton ‘pet-friendly’ properties, which is too bad because we prefer Hilton properties to other brands and we really enjoyed our room other than the allergy issue.
