El Dar nos encantó, un lugar muy acogedor, limpio y agradable. Nos recibió Yassir, nos ayudó a llevar las maletas y fue siempre super amable, muy atento y al pendiente de que todo estuviera bien y no nos hiciera falta nada. Nos recomendó un restaurante para cenar la primera noche, nos ayudó a hacer la reservación y se aseguró de que sí nos recibieran. Muchas gracias Yassir y a todo el personal por hacer nuestra estancia muy agradable en Chefchaouen.

Chefchouen! A favorite place to visit! This Riad was very comfortable and beautiful. It’s nestled in a quiet area right off the main market area. It is quite a climb up stairs to get to the door. But we had many staff ready and willing to grab your luggage and help you get up to the Riad. Chefchouen is the Blue Pearl! We loved this city. More of a small town feel. Every Riad will welcome you with the tea service. WE LOVED THE MINT TEA!! This Riad is small and cozy. The staff is so kind and hospitable. It’s a very easy and short walk to shopping area. You definitely will not go wrong staying here. Our room was very nice and comfortable.

Absolute Gem ! Highly Recommend.

We cannot speak highly enough of this hotel. Loved every part of it. Beautiful room. Spotless clean. Amazing helpful staff. Awesome breakfast on the rooftop terrace. Wonderful location. Bit hard to find but you’ll work it out. Streets are noisy at night but nothing to do with the hotel.

This riad was one of mine favorite in Morocco. It was very clean and the rooms were extremely comfortable. The hospitality was amazing. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Chefchaouen

This is a solid riad in the beautiful city of Chefchouen and a great value imo. 2 nights cost approximately $150 and includes a substantial breakfast. The building is beautiful w/ an amazing interior and friendly staff. However, we didn't have any towels upon arrival & only 1 roll of toilet paper. In addition, we were stationed on the 1st floor where we heard everyone coming and going throughout the night and morning and all of the loud noises from the street. Those were the only drawbacks imo.

Quaint setting; good breakfast served on rooftop with excellent views. Staff were great, arranged a gran taxi from Tetouan airport to the hotel as well as a petit taxi from the hotel to the Chefchouan bus station.

Our stay at Dar M&D was nothing short of exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. We visited Morocco for 14 days and stayed here for 2 nights. This was one of the nicest Riads we stayed in during our trip to Morocco. It is centrally located in ChefChaouen and staff is amazing.

We stayed 2 nights in the the Dar, it is well locatrd...across from.the crowded areas...keep in mind you have to go uphill to get to the place. Athe place is small but considering tjat you're in a small city is a good option. Hot water, good bed and staff helpful...breakfast is AMAZING! Restaurant El Cielo is very close food is amazing

We adored this property. It has been lovingly renovated and is just gorgeous. It's not only beautiful, but everything is clean and works well. There is also heat in the rooms. which was appreciated in January. The location is up the hill in a tranquil area with views from the rooftop terrace. It is walkable to great restaurants and everything we were interested in. Adel took great care of us with thoughtful suggestions, reservations etc. He even walked me to an ATM 15 minutes away! The breakfast was delicious and bountiful. My only regret is that we didn't have more time. I can't say enough good about this place and highly recommend it. I think there are only 6 rooms, so don't delay booking!

Perfect stay, with nearish parking

The mountain view room was one of the best stays of our Morocco trip: the room is beautiful and comfortable, the view is fantastic, and the staff was warm, attentive, and helpful. I'm glad I found their parking advice on a different booking engine: there's a lot (30Dh per night) at the Mosque Sebanin just one shortish stairway below the house, making it by far the closest option. It's a bit if a hairy drive there on narrow streets --- but was well worth it to be so close.

The staff were stellar - very warm, welcoming, professional, and courteous. There was always someone around when we came or went, making sure we were comfortable and happy with our stay. They provided recommendations in Chefchaouenand set up transportation at a moment’s notice. Breakfast was fresh and tasty. I would recommend them highly.

Dar M&D is such a beautiful place to stay. Situated about halfway up the hill, the building offers amazing views, gorgeously decorated rooms and the rooftop where you can take in the lovely city and mountains. You feel like you have finally arrived in Morocco! The building has been newly renovated and the rooms are stunning. They paid careful attention to all the details when designing the rooms. The beds, the bedding and the linens are of very high quality, which is most appreciated by any traveler. The interior is so gorgeous with all the hand carved trim and gorgeous Moroccan decor. We had the family suite on the third level. The smaller room with the twin beds had the best view. The bathroom had a large shower, plenty of hot water and well thought out details. Nice flat screen TVs in each room for relaxing after wandering around for hours. The “superior king” room next to us looks to be the best room at Mar M&D, incredible views, a fireplace & sitting area! We enjoyed a perfect breakfast on the rooftop every morning. Eggs, fresh vegetables, fruit, pastries, yogurt coffee and juice. Lots of food and such a lovely presentation. Adel was the nicest, most welcoming host. He provided lots of information on the area, where to eat, what to see. He is so kind and made us feel very welcomed. We were amazed that his English was self taught and is perfect! Mar M&D is a perfect choice for travelers with its ideal location, comfortable rooms and welcoming staff.

Pros and cons Pros : Great breakfast Location is perfect because there is a restaurant next door . Cons : Bathroom wasn’t not cleaning , it was nasty Room is super small and has too much furniture . Customer services is not there . We had to walk 20 mint with luggage to find the place , we paid people to help us. The website never has a description of how to get to the hotel and it was an exhausting experience. I tried to speak to the young man who checked us in to be very specific because what if someone has a disability and can’t go up the hill ( he was not open to listen at all )
